When i buy bud from the dispo it comes in grove bags with a 62% humidity pack inside. Its always dry af. I buy it and put it in a jar with a 62% boveda pack to fix it. I would love to see some actual data showing this magic plastic bag is better than all of the rest of the plastic bags because in my experience there is no difference besides the marketing budget.
I hear ya buddy. Im pretty loose with my numbers and live in a tropical climate. Its hard to even get down to 60%. Im not not too tight with my numbers. If im mixing Jacks Ill go with 3.7 or 3.5. Ive kept those that i took the picture of in the same pkace since then. They are all about 3% apart and 3 degrees apart. They are not fine tuned instruments by any means. They are sufficiently precise, though possibly inaccurate, for me to establish a baseline range im working with. I was kinda a dick and for that I apologize. Not typically like that. A lot of folks use them though and your comment was kinda hyperbolic so I was just trying tell the other cat that they are useful. I had the grove bags as well but went back to jars. They kept the humidity level well but were smokers, and was in and out of them constantly and the zip locks would tear away from the bag. Ive never been able to store anything for a longer period that would necessitate their use. Peace brother and good growing to ya.
Yeah I could have been less hyperbolic. I kinda copy/pasted my irl reaction to struggling/being annoyed with them straight into this thread without any context.
