That last shot looks amazing. Looks like you slipped into Area 51 one evening and stole an Alien plant.
10 gallon tall pots working great watering less and first start to finish with Roadside. Roadside def faster acting than Gaia Green.
Super-cropping? Doing as many as I did to these does, super- cropping stress the plants to the point that I did more harm than good ? This was more of an exercise in improving my skills😂
I am 1 for 16 on seed success. Popping 1 at a time and going back to soil in Dixie cup. Last 3 got second set of leaves and got that peach fuzz junk all over them. I hit them with a couple drops of water diluted 25% peroxide figured to late and more water not the solution.
Seeds/seedlings… My biggest setback popping seeds always ends up connected to watering , either to much or not enough because I’m trying not to keep em too wet. I’ve noticed that autoflower and any older seeds are really sensitive to wetness
The fuzzy comes normally from being to wet. People call it damping off because it ends up separating the roots from the stem and falling off.
I believe that’s what happened to the one I lost and why I have the plant you just mentioned in the last pictures. That plant replaced the dead one three weeks into the grow
Supercropping does stress the plant but I’ve found that the branches that have been SCed normally get fetter and produces bigger buds than branches not SCed. It’s caused me to purposely damage plants to get better results.
I’m 99% sure it’s part of the reason @kaptain3d beats the out of his plants. Not only is it fun to do but you get stronger plants with more tops and fatter nugs after beating the girls up. Kap might chime in with other reasons why he does it. He even named it “titting” I believe. Again I’m sure he will chime in, the Kaptain is always lurking
If you have a branch that seems weak and you are worried it won’t hold up a bud you can play with the branch bending and pinching it all along it’s length to strengthen it. Same reason I like to keep my room very windy. The wind keeps the branches flexing which strengthens them. Like most rules there are exceptions some plants genetically have weak branched and will need help holding up it’s buds no matter what you do.
Totally agree! I’m dealing with one testing strain that has very poor lateral branching. It has nothing to do with anything other than genetics since it’s outdoors and gets plenty of wind to try and strengthen it…
I called it that just to have a reason to call @StonedCold13 a T.I.T. (torturer in training), just harmless banter!
Exactly. Also, I use it as scrogging without a net. I like to direct the apical dominance so all the branches are level with one another. That way I can control the height of my plants more easily and I get more even sized buds.
Yes. And you can also “roll” it back and forth between your fingers. You’ll feel/hear some kind of click. That’s the fibers breaking up. They will heal up much harder and “knottier” after that.
