Male or Female?!? Pre-flower Exam help

So, ive got a few plants that are 4-5 weeks old that I’m about to move into 5 gal pots… usually I can tell if they are male or female at this point, and can save some resources by tossing the males in their 1 gal pots. However, I have 2 plants giving me some issues… they are pineapple haze… one grew way faster than the other so figured it would be male… the first pic below is the pic from 1 week ago… to me it looks female… calling it “Plant A” then, there is a pick of Plant B from a week ago… which looks more male… fast forward one week, and now the pre-flowers look like they have flipped on me… Plant A now looks very “spade-like” and “ball w stem” and thus male while plant B is looking more Fem. I have topped the plants during this 1 week between the photos, so the original pre-flowers from the first photo are not able to be examined in second phone since they were from the top I chopped off… I’m quadlining and mainlining. Any tips as to what you think is what? I’m trying to toss 1 tomorrow and put the other in a 5 gal, and don’t want to toss the wrong one (I’ll prob keep it another week or two to be safe, but I don’t want to plant one in 5 gal of soil if Im gonna end up tossing it… thanks for helping!

1 week ago- Plant “A” (looking more fem)

1 week ago- Plant “”B” (looking more spade shaped)

Today- Plant “A” (now looking male…)

Today- Plant “B” (now looking more fem”

1 week ago, pic of the 4 week old plants… the ones w red LST ties are the 2 plants in question… back right is “A” and front left is “B”

Here’s a better pic from today of plant “A” looking pretty masculine…

I don’t see hairs coming out of those calyxes, but it may still be early. Give it a little more time.

Yeah, there won’t be hairs for another couple weeks. You can usually tell pre-flowers before hairs come out though… the hairs is just a final confirmation…

Unfortunately, I think you’re right.
The last close-up above may be male too. Is this the same plant?
Female pre-flowers, calyxes, don’t grow on stems, they are just stuck to the node.
Male flowers grow on stems so eventually the boy parts can dangle freely.
But at least those two pics look like male flowers to me.

Thanks for the reply… which 2 pics? I labeled each pic either plant “A” or plant “B”… can you tell me which letter looks male?

I see what you are saying, yes the extra pic I added is the same plant, plant “A”

B I guess. I can’t tell if it’s on a stem because of that little plant hair thing right in front of it.
But the female flowers stay attached to the node at the intersection of the stem.

The pics are labeled above each picture… so, I think you are referring to “A”…. Which is what I Thought… thanks for confirm!

In your above post I see 4 close up pics and then a group shot. I’m talking about the last of those 4 close ups.

That one!
Didn’t know I could quote a pic! Learned something new! LOL!

Is it just a new shoot coming out of the node?
I really can’t tell from these pics man! Sorry!

Ok thanks!! Was hoping this one isn’t male… since this is “B” and it looks like “”a” is male w the little balls on stems… to me “B” looks fem… maybe I’ll wait a little longer

So far they r appearing female. Makes have a weird double point to them not so pointy but have a double end to them where the fems have like a single point like urs do. Let me find u a male preflowers on one of my plants u’ll see the 2 points I talk about. I believe u have fems from what I see so far tho.
