Ok cool thanks for the info!
Those are stipules. Both male and female with have those at each node
Thanks for the shout out. Iām still alive but just watching as much as I can and learning more every time. My first grow of BG, AK47 and SD was so much for just the two of us, we have enough to last longer than the life of Cannabis. I love to grow different things that donāt really grow outdoors year round in our area of Southern Mo. Also, we donāt smoke tobacco, but I love the candies and brownies and a pinch hit once in the evening. I hope my seeds donāt go bad before use them. I bought some Gorilla Glue and Gold. So that gives me 5 different plants. Iām anxious to grow but donāt want to go to jail for having too much. lol Can you ever have enough? lol
They are not allowed to look for or ask how much you have stored.
They can only examine the grow room itself for security compliance.
Of course they would see how many plants at that pointā¦But if you store your product elsewhere they cant go look for it.With a grow permit legally you can have 12 ouncesā¦But again who would know.
What do you think of the AK-47. Looking for a Sativa to go with the Indicas I have going.
I think the Ak47 was my star performer. The buds were the largest on mother and clones. I havenāt really tried much of the AK because we mostly smoke or eatables before bed. There is no way I could leave the house after consumption. ILGM seeds make Outstanding plants for all purposes. My husband made some brownies and I made candy the other night. Something went wrong on my chocolates. They werenāt strong at all. I even ate 3 when I usually only need one. My husbands brownies made with BG knocked his socks off and scared him, so I cut the rest of the pieces in 1/4ās. Last night I tried one of the quarters and I had to go to bed within 30 minutes. WOW! I haved smoked Sour D during the day and find it uplifting and I think the AK-47 is similar. Thanks for the info, Happy Grow.
You really donāt need to keep a male around very long or as a whole plant. When I want some male pollen, I grow one out to about what yours is at then I cut off the top 8-10 inches and put in a cup of water and place it far away from my grow area (other side of the house), bathroom window sill works for me. Once it starts releasing pollen I shake it over an envelope to collect the pollen and then get rid of the cutting. Then I use a q-tip dipped in the pollen to apply some pollen to the female buds I want seeds from, the pollen can be saved in the freezer for later use as well.
Yes male plants here tend to produce pollen before the ladies are ready. The female flowers must be receptive and fully formed to be pollinated. Normally I wait for a few weeks into flower before I pollinate. I take the pollen from the dude in the morning when the winds are low. The pollen is collected on a sheet of paper, then I fold it into a sorta pouch and place it in a paper envelope. This is then put in the freezer until the girls are ready. When the tim looks right, I take a Q tip and my boy dust out to the ladies and gently dab the dust on selected lower buds. I then cover those buds in a white plastic bag for a day to ensure the girls get the goods. I remove the plastic and gently hose down the plants to neutralize any stray pollen. Generally I can take the top buds off a bit before I harvest the seeded buds because I want to ensure good seed set. Like with any plant seed is the final stage of life and normally just before rot begins is the ultimate time to collect. That said, I highly recommend if you do this outdoors like I do, you should do it in a greenhouse or cover it with poly to prevent mold due to rain and frost. If you do this indoors wait untill the seed is actually visible and looking as if it wants to fall from the bud, in fact many will. Hope this wasnt too long winded.
