Yes i have. I collect it in the paper bag then when i’em ready to use it i use an artist brush to apply the pollen to the female.

I’ll have to try the brush method I’ve always usually just taken the brown paper bag and put it over the top of the female for a few days

@garrigan62 @Hogmaster
I will use this method once I’m sure the others are female ( will post pics )
Thanks again

all your doing is making the pollen last longer, which is a good thing.

Well the good news is 5 plants 2 males 3 females and regular seeds from who knows where. I’m definitely going to purchase some seeds from ILGM, haven’t read enough detail on the percentage of seeds that get through NZ customs. Hopefully some Kiwis out there can fill me in :fearful:

Hello:

I remember that I used to have a tall plant like that, even if that is not a fact, usually males grow taller and are not as bushy as females. Those little balls are indicative of a male mj plant. I have some pictures of la Prima that turned out to be a male after a couple of months. I decided a that time to grow a seed pocket, but I noticed that the plant was huge at its age compared to others.
At any case, the boy can be used to pollinate, to make some resin, or just to learn more about it.
Happy growing!:smile_cat:

A closer look at the nodes would be great, however the plant is looking very healthy and female. :sweat_smile: I think some pistils are showing up?

one month later starting to get a bit wet and humid now what do you think? ready or a few weeks to go not sure as I’m new to greenhouse growing

Wait a few weeks and check again. They really bulk up at the end to the point that the calyx will swell almost to the point of not being able to see as much of the pistles showing.
