I think my plants might have a Magnesium Deficiency, but not sure. Anyone know what is causing this? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Yes, looks like a magnesium deficiency. Add some Cal Mag, or Epsom salt.
Thank you sooo much! It is so difficult to tell by looking through books, or pics over the internet. Much appreciated!
Anytime…
Mag definetly. The use of calcium and magnesium isn’t stressed enough sometimes when researching growing. I’ve battled this since day one.
Possibly potassium. @raustin. She’ll know
Looks like Potassium to me too. Here’s a good informative article on Potassium Deficiencies and Excesses.
Thanks Familyman! It definitely helps getting the confirmation from other people. I feel like I can safely correct the problem now. I’m a newbie on here, and you guys are great!
No problem man. I’m on my first grow also and am happy to help when I can.
Curious if you have tested the run off as well. Do u check ppm and ph?
In addition to Cal-mag, make sure your pH is right so the plant can absorb it.
That could be the start of a potassium deficiency, but what is your Ph?
You said exactly what I was going to lol.
Ph is 7.3 to 7.5. A little high. I believe.
Yes, that’s high. Are you in soil? Get your Ph down between 6.3 and 6.8 and all will be well.
Yes in soil. What are some of the best ways for lowering ph without accidentally going too low?
Get some Ph down, it’s the easiest and surest way to get the Ph down. You could also use lemon juice, but it won’t stay down for very long.
You really should have a ph kit like this:

Okay. I really appreciate your help
