When should I stop doing lst and defoliate/prune so the middle/lower bud sites get more light ?

Yup she looks like she has hardened off and wont take much more bending as is…
You can do a light defoil as u please. She has plenty of foliage and itll only help

That was my thought also so I’m glad to hear that. I have a few more in line . I had to start with some stage growing a week apart but my light will be here by end of the grow so I can start the next round all at once.

Yours are about 2 weeks behind mine. I have ILGM WW autos that popped about Thanksgiving. I took off all the LST ties about a week or so ago, as they were no longer doing a damn thing. If yours are like mine, get ready for the stretch! Photos below from 2 weeks ago (where you’re at) and from yesterday. They’re currently at 36" above dirt, with me bending the tops down as quickly as they pop up. 4 of 5 have slowed upward growth, but the 5th just keeps shooting up. I did a major defol last week, thinking it was my last. Did a bigger one yesterday. Not complaining, mind you, just warning.

Thanks. This is my 2nd grow and both have been WW. Here’s a comparison pic from 1st and 2nd.
No lst or topping done on 1st grow and she got stunted bc of the pot but hey I’m learning 
Tbh im gonna let the LST ride another week. It’s almost ready but not yet I don’t think. Next grow will be in 5 gallons. Those are only 3 gals

Funny. I’m in 5’s and thinking about going to 3. Part of me says pot size doesn’t matter for squat when it comes to what you can fit in the tent, the other part thinks watering needs will go down without sacrificing growth. Gonna be a while before I find out, as the next grow will be a SOG in 1 gallon bags.

Ohhhhh week 3 or 4 of flowering ? Dang I’m only on week 5 day 1 after the popped up.
I mostly chose 5 bc theyre square
It is kinda… pointless. Bigger pots help roots develop EASIER. Which makes alot believe bigger pot, bigger plant. But if ur grow is well tuned, its pretty irrelevant. I grow in 1-3 gall pots now. Just to fit more in the area

Should I defol the bottom leaves that aren’t getting any light or is that just unneeded stress ? I usually water with nutes right after I defol so they can repair the damage

I’m still pretty new at this, but rapidly coming to the conclusion that healthy plants will fill the lateral space available. Every freaking inch of it. I just need a pot big enough, but not too big. A good look at the root ball when all is said and done will tell the tale.

Yup. Start low and near the dirt and work a couple inches up removing leaves at the node. Wont hurt a bit.

I am pulling bunches of leaves -repeatedly - off my autos. They haven’t shown a bit of stress and keep throwing out new growth. That I continue to remove. Two weeks in a row I did a major trim on the undercarriage, and new shoots keep coming. Your experience may be different than mine, but I’d clear out the clutter.
