Lower fan leaves yellowing and dropping early flower

Okay I’m in soil I usually try to slow dry in my tent dark 9 or 10 days I’ll leave exhaust system running keeps odor under control also a little air flow. So I need to get the run off as low as I can before I chop. I can probably squeeze in 24 hours Darkness. Also used the jar system for curing. Any more tips will be appreciated.

Do you flush for a couple of days and how many gallon do you normally have to run through a 5-gallon pot.

I use a flushing agent (florakleen) which is similar to the FF product Sledgehammer. In media it’s watering to about 50% runoff and watching the numbers. I have to plan ahead and budget enough to get me through. Some growers have done a flush with the garden hose then followed up immediately with R/O water to displace the tap water. Works for them. Soil might take longer than a week. And more water. And, you may never get it quite that low. Is it necessary? Not really. It does help IMO with the flavor but you start getting into the nuances of growing cannabis.

Okay @myfriend410 so at the start of this flush I should remove any fan leaves that’s left. I’m okay on temperature I can usually get around 70 temperature and somewhere around 50 humidity. For the 10 days. Thanks.

@Myfriendis410 okay I have some pictures I would like to share. If it’s not too much trouble I need a detail description of how to go about this . So when I get home from work today I will try to make this happen I have never posted pictures. Thanks

Thanks for the support the two plants together Will take care of family needs through the winter personal use. I’ve got the room dialed in temperature and humidity for the slow dry. I have family in Eureka was coming out last year but postponed because all the fires.

Update: picked up some Florakleen and did the flush 3ml/gal distilled water and drenched till runoff. Let it dry and followed up with a light feed 6-700 ppm in distilled water phd to 6.6. Came out this morning to find the leaves still yellow as I assumed they wouldn’t recover but I now have a new colour to worry about … purple leaves and even the stems on some plants. I know this could be a number of things as I’ve had a few cold night although not below 50f and the strain is a shishkaberry cross which could be genetic. Even though the buds look to be turning out fairly well I figured I’d look for some advice because of the troubles I’ve had. could it be the light feeding causing deficiencies or did I not flush thoroughly or strong enough? Thanks for all your help

Quick google results.

Big question… what are those 700 ppms made of?

Dang… tomatoes… horrible example. More googling!

Edit: i got the same answer. At this point (flowering) they require MUCH less N (but not 0 according to ur yellow leaves. Unless thats overwatering from ur flush) but MUUUUUCCCCCHHHHH higher PK ( Phosphorus and Potassium)

I agree, looks like they’re hungry for P & K, possibly from incorrect pH.

Fed 700ppms of this feed but I’m noticing some tip burn which is odd from such a light feed I’m thinking something is doing on with soil ph or still some salt build up causing lockout

How many mL of A and how many of B? Do u have a schedule ur following? Or more free handing it?

Did 10ml of each per gallon which is about 1/2 strength decided to go light after the issues I was having and the flush maybe it just wasn’t enough after flushing

Probably ought to wait and see how she responds to the flush. Purple leaves can indicate a deficiency but if you have (and do) an N deficiency that can screw with the uptake. 700 ppm sounds just fine to me for now.

Personally I like to support the plant more throughout the grow with more N than is generally considered wise, but my feeling is to give them everything they want to keep them happy and yields should follow. FYI yellow leaves will never improve: look to new growth for improvement.
