Going to buy an ac infinity tent 2x4x6. Looking for light suggestions but I’m on a budget. I’m looking at the Mars Hydro TS 600W which covers 2x2 and was going to get 2. Are there any others in the 100 to 170 dollar range i can look into?
I would strongly recommend you NOT get this light: if you get an HLG QB135 R-Spec you can veg under that and then pick up another one once you transition to flower. That would be more like $400 total but not all at once and is an infinitely better light. It will also save you on your electric bill. Just my $.02 having B.T.D.T. like so many others here.
So I have a HLG light now, but did have some decent results with one of the new viparspec xs1500 covers the 2x2 footprint, but its only 1 plant. It would fit in your price range, but compared to my HLG doesn’t even come close. But it might be Something to look in to. Comes with name brand components, but it would only cover half of your tent. It did run very hot and had heat issue with it. Good luck
@Myfriendis410 @Kingkupa Thats why i was looking at the mars hydro 2x2. I was going to buy 2 which kept me in my price range and i heard they were good.
I hear you there, just trying to stay in budget. Im just going to keep looking and reading. Also save what i can until my first grow is done. Solo grow just put it into flower.
So copy, paste off Amazon spec for the mars light you are looking at.
- HIGH EFFICIENCY ENERGY SAVING PLANT LIGHT, Consuming only 100 Watts true output with 225 PCS LEDs, more scientifically and energy-efficient! Perfect for 2’ x 2’ veg stage, 1.5’ x 1.5’ bloom stage, higher intensity in a MARS HYDRO grow tent, reflective area, or by crossing over using multiple TS600
So you will be able to veg. Or grow 2 plants in that space but unless your are very good at training your plants, or just plan to have very small, low yielding plants only able to flower 1 plant at a time. Even with 2 lights
It’s your decision but I bet you will be second guessing your self at the end of your grow. Just my 2 cents
If that was what I had to spend vipar has a sale going on this one and you would do just fine with it in a 2x4 especially if you are growing autoflowers
That one @MeEasy showed is probably closest to your budget with decent flowering
Viparspectra lights p1500 or p 2000 there great value for the money
