Long time Listener, First Time Grower. HELP PLEASE!

Okay. I’m starting to question all I’ve said here. I assumed your pH issue was due to a salt buildup from feeding. My bad, dude, and I’m sorry. It’s uncommon to have pH issues in Fox Farm soils.

A flush will still most likely fix any pH issues.

Water going in ph 7.3, water coming out 5.09 ph

What the best way to increase soil ph?

it would help to get a ppm meter. a bluelab or Apera is good. What nutes are u going to use?

@Jonny420 @PurpNGold74 last week was chatting about people using Dolomite Lime, let’s get his thoughts on this issue.

Idk what nutes to use, any recommendations?

Lots use Jack’s 321. Very easy to mix and use.

@Jonny420 What kind of ph meter do you have?

Well stated info Brother! :love_you_gesture:

The dolomite lime will help raise and stabilize the PH but will take a week or so :love_you_gesture:

I always use lime on my last transplant to head off pH problems that tend to go awry later in flowering. I add about a half cup of it using 10-gal pots.

I switched to Jack’s half way through the last grow. It is much easier on pH than when I was using Fox Farm nutes (the Trio.)

Yes Sir, Worked when I grew a few runs in soil and couldn’t get a stable PH :love_you_gesture:

Yep I tried 24/7 with auto = tall plant, average smoke

You have a cal mag problem just get yourself some calmag itll do the trick

Vivosun ph meter, I got some dolomite lime coming in , but after checking on her this morning not sure if she is gonna make it. I got ph soil meters coming in so I don’t repeat the same mistake. I’m going to give her cal-mag next watering see if that helps, but I’m not sure even if I add it that she will soak it up because the ph is off

That dolomite lime is good stuff. Definitely helps stabilize some low pH issues

@Jonny420 I have the Apera20 Bluelab tds

Now I have the fox farm trio coming in… it says online you can use big bloom every watering, is this true? Also read that fox farm doesn’t include calcium in their products. Do you think mixing a cocktail of big bloom and cal-mag would help her?

Following the schedule is normally ur best bet. Maybe at 50% maybe at 100%. But follow it at appropriate ratios and schedules.

The big 3 (grow big big bloom tiger bloom) do not.

That sounds like a semi random conclusion. Throwing stuff at a problem could make it worse. If pH is off, then adding more definitely wont help.

Thanks for the input @PurpNGold74. The dolomite lime isnt coming in until tomorrow, do you know of any fast way to increase ph in soil?

@Jonny420 do you let your water sit for at least 24 hours to dechlorinate before watering? Just want to rule one thing out!
