Best to keep the knowledge in the smallest circle possible, which includes your own family not only strangers… I have seen firsthand extended family domestic disputes go sideways really fast where the butt-hurt person starts spilling family secrets to anyone that will listen!!! Had a front-row seat as an ex-family member snitched to anyone that would listen about me and another family member brewing and distilling, thankfully in my area and this day and age that was mostly met with “Can I get some?” vs doors being busted down at least for that, they did lie and claim other things were happening (aka they claimed cultivation) those lies did actually get the door busted down 
but since those claims were lies and nothing was growing at all nothing really happened in the end, but they did unplug the heaters in the brew room, but entirely ignored the 30 gallons of mash that were brewing 
we just turned the heater back on after they left 
lawyers said don’t worry about it since they didn’t even report it on the warrant and he had never heard of anyone ever being busted for running personal use shine…
