What’s everyone’s preferred lights on and off times when switching to 12/12. Can they be checked when lights out?

You don’t want to check them during lights out. Could cause stress and you don’t want that. I set mine for lights out while I am sleeping

I run from 10am to 10pm, because most of my free time is in the later evening.

Right now I’m at 6:30pm to 6:30am to coincide with no ambient sunlight.
My first grow time was a mistake for me. 7am to 7pm lights out. Now its 12am to 12pm. Gives me a mix of night temps and early day temps. I run a cool tube and heater on temp controller with 600 watt hps, and I’ve been good with temps since. Also, i found in my veg tent. I keep the temp the same as lights on and off. I have a 4ft veg tent, so the constant temps help keeps node spacing shorter.

Im dark from 5pm to 5am for me i hear that if its a life or death situation a green light will not upset your girls idk lights out is lights out for me just a noob tho

Right now my lights turn on at 10 am and out at 10 pm but in the summer I flip my cycle so that it is easier for the a.c. to keep up
Right now I have mine on 7am dark 7pm light. This schedule usually gives me an hour in the morning before work. Then I can feed and water at lights on in the evening. Plus I catch the off peak power costs.
I do 8pm to 8am lights on. Let’s me have time to check them in the morning and/or in the evening.
Yep, most do what works best for their schedule. I’ve also heard of running lights on during the night, to save on the electric bill, using off-peak hours mostly.

My veg tent runs lights on from 1pm till 7 am
My flower tents 7pm to 7 am
Strictly set to avoid the max electricity cost times
