Hey everyone
I’m wondering if someone might be able to point me in the right direction.
I’ve just purchased a scorpion diablo light and it comes standard with a rotary style dimmer, boring I know and for $2200 as well. I’m wondering if theres a lighting controller out there that has a sunrise/sunset feature also wanting it to dim to certain levels at certain temperatures. Am I asking too much or is there simple controller out there that will do the trick. I believe the driver uses 0-10V pot dimming if that helps.
Cheers
Can contact control consultants in st louis. They distribute Innotech controls and are used widely in the commercial grow arena. John can point you in the right direction.
I agree man! These old school dimmers attached to the highest tech lights is a joke!
The old lady bought a aquarium hood with a LED strip like 3 years ago that was app controlled, had preset programs for just what you’re saying, save temp recognition, you could do “Fall” day or “Tropical” and aside from different run times the spectrum was also visibly different.
And for less than $100 if I remember correctly!
Fishtank lighting…LOL!
yeah a fish tank type lighting controller has all the features except maybe temp control option but I’m not sure how to find one that’s compatible with the light.
Yeah, if such a thing exists! That one was specific to that maker.
I was mainly pointing out how easy and cheap it is to do. It’s kinda insane they haven’t gotten with the program, so to speak! LOL!
I can wave my phone in front of a gas pump and drive away with a full tank but to control my “latest tech” grow light I’m using a switch invented in the 30s! The 1930s! LOL!
would be a good niche for a tech head wanting to make some money it’s a wonder the light companies aren’t on to something
