How are you checking?
N/A? Are you watering with distilled water no nutrients?
(If no, what nutes are you using and at what strength?)
Tell me more. What brand of light?
PH is tested with digital tester, and liquid tester.
TDS meter I just got but still need to figure out ranges. Water is either distilled or from the 5 gal bottles that you fill at the store.
Nutrients are general organics go box
Bio thrive 10ml
CaMg+ 5ml
Bio root 10ml
Bio weed 2.5 ml
Bio marine 5ml
Diamond black 5ml
All in one gal of water.
About 3/4 of gal given once with nutrients
Will provide pick of light.
PH could have been off. I didnât have equipment at first and assumed the jug water would be good. Also didnât check solution after adding nutrients.
I believe if you correct those things you mentioned, watch for any differences/changes on new and old leaves, you should be good to go. Odds are you had a little pH fluctuation before you got all your equipment. Just remember to check your pH after you add and mix your nutrients. Iâm sure some more experienced Growers will know exactly what your leaves are telling you happened from your picture. Good luck. Happy growing
Probably yes. The TDS meter youâve got is fine but the PH meter may or may not be accurate. I understand those ones have a tendency to fall out of calibration very easily.
The driver mounted to your light has a capacity of 100w of output. So just as a heads up the light is 100w rather than 1000w. The practical impact is you may want to double up or even investigate a different light for flowering if you can spring for one.
The Bloom or Grow? I had to look them up, not super familiar with the brand.
Anyway, it looks like it could be:
Magnesium deficiency
Potassium deficiency
Phosphorus deficiency
I am leaning toward P or K since you use CalMag in your feed schedule already.
Sheâs an auto, so youâre most likely seeing her shifting from veg into flower and her nutrient uptake is moving from wanting high N to higher P & K levels. Iâd cut the BioThrive Grow to 5ml and add 5ml of the Bloom. Or even just switch since thatâs what their feed schedule calls for - id be more comfortable personally using a bit of both for âtransition weekâ.
Hereâs the feed schedule I was able to find easily. Looks on point with the ratios you gave.
I hope all that babbling is helpful in some way.
Thanks! There has been some change, it started at the bottom and is slowly working itâs way to the top. The leaves seem fine. No burn or wilting.
You have been very helpful thank you!
Should I wait for next feeding to add needs nutrients
Or add it now ?
This is the light below. Do you still think I will need more light inside a 4x4 grow tent ?
ăTOP NOTCH QUALITY LED GROW LIGHTăUse Samsung LM301 diodes and MEAN WELL driver; full spectrum light ideal for all stages of growth; adjustable light intensity with dimmer switch; protective coating on LEDs helps extend the lifespan; no fan, zero noise. Only consumes 100w, running 50% less power than the other 1500 QB lights(SMD LEDs) or Blurple lamps or HPS. This light delivers powerful light output and uniform canopy penetration to resulting maximum yields. UL,CE, ETL Certificated.
This is what lets me know youâll need more. I have 2x 100w lights in a veg 4x3. I have a 240w and 320w light in my flowering tent and am struggling to hit my DLI on a 12/12 light cycle in a 4x4.
Just here to offer assistance when I can
I would add to the one that has obvious discoloration now, but youâre gonna throw off your watering schedules a little bit by doing so.
