Light burn or nutrient issue šŸ¤”

Coco with 30% perlite… I did mention I’m only new at this .

When lights come back on I am to test ph and ec on runoff. Thinks it could be ph fluctuation or needing more nutes, may need a flush for a day ,See what the numbers are at lights on

Intake ph was 6.2, output /overflow was 6.8, ec was 1.92 and on overflow 1.30 , ph to high for the cal/mag to be picked up I believe. Will drop the ph on tomorrow’s water to 6 and keep an eye on it . Thanks for all the feedback , lots to learn .

5.5-6 with coco

Thanks heaps

Yes could be that the medium has too high of a ph. Coc is best around a 5.8. Try and get it down to a 5.8 area and it will prolly start to kick in gear. If u can since u chose coco. Which coco? And jacks 321 nutrients are fairly cheap go along way and u can do grows start to finish with just jacks and nothing else. Knowing if u have a buffered coco to start will help alot. Canna coco comes buffered ready to go. Other cocos might require to be washed and buffered to they correct ph before planting. Cocoloco was a bad coco for me to stary with even buffering it it was still a huge mess and almost killed the plant.

Thanks mate, when I feed today I’ll drop it down again. Is it safe to straight to 5.8 or could I shock it

I hope that’s a typo. 24 degrees is way too cold. Unless you talking Celsius.

Don’t do large swings. Unless its absolutely necessary or else she will start acting like blonde and not do anything you want her to

As for nutes and plant symptoms I can’t help with that. I use Nectar for The Gods line. Completely different. Had to relearn everything.

Celsius mate, live in Australia

Thanks heaps

If u have ur sol
Il ph coming out high drop it in the nute mix to a 5.0 and water with that a bit see if it brings the ph down. Just do phd water. Once the ph is in check leave it dry out good for a few days then drop some good phd nute water on her. If i try and flush it woth phd w a ter if say 7 gal id go with atleast 4 or 5 gallons of phd wayer and slowly put the water to the diry so everythong gets wet alowly and works its way down the dirt and out. If u do too fast the water will find tunnels it will make and basically yravel thru the tunnels and not get all out. Slow is key after ph is in check mix nutes and ph to 5.6 to 5.8 and water awau. Good lick

Thanks so much

Ph sorted, had a good week, have bounced back and they look very happy , apreciate everyone’s input

Glad to see them thriving! Well done! Now you can really see what they can do! Grow on my friend!

They filled that space out quickly

Thanks heaps, I can’t believe how quick they are growing. We have had a week of rain and outside temps have been pretty low . Let’s hope it stays this way .

They will take off from here on out just keep it dialed in

I hope so… :grimacing:
