I think you’ll be back in track in no time. Gorgeous flowers
Thank you! I just fed them w/leftover nutes ONCE and that happened.
I use large batch mixes, but I keep it moving with a wave maker, and it’s never in light.
I mix larger batches for outside. Heres what I did.
I took my scale and measured out the three Jacks ingredients for a 5 gallon bucket.
I poured each one into an empty prescription pill bottle. I marked the level and cut the bottle off at the line. Marked the bottles Part A, Epsom and Part B. Glued them to popsicle sticks.
So now to mix 5 gallons I just use those homemade measuring spoons.
I COULDN’T LOVE THIS MORE. Great idea
At my age pill bottles are not hard to come by either. Lol
That’s a great idea!
winner winner and same here
gorgeous
Thank you!
@Spiney_norman @OGIncognito , I was just wondering yesterday if anyone is running straight 3 2 1. I see lots of guys adding multiple extras.
It’s good to know it does very well as advertised just by itself.
Recently I started adding MPK the 1st 3-4 weeks of flower to boost bud size and density… verdict still out on that. Great results with straight jacks 321 and silica and or jacks for tap. With silica. I do top feed Recharge about every 2 weeks
I only add microbes and silica to my Jack’s mix (once weekly) . I’ve been very happy with it
I haven’t done the MPK but I do modify the ratios about a week before flip to a 4-2-1 which seems to work great
Yea buddy! I do reduce the 321 for the MPK.
A thought on Epsom and CalMag, they both add Magnesium. Could be giving the girls too many nutes and this particular pheno is showing the stress of it?
Also isn’t silica a form of CalMag as well?
CalMag isn’t needed with Jack’s as the cal is in the calcium nitrate, and the magnesium is Epsom salt. Silica is different from both.
No, silica is something different. It pretty much just helps to build strong stems.
She had been getting a slightly reduced Cal/Mag up till this week when she started getting the weird yellow. I took advice to add Epson Salts at 1.5 tsp/gal. She got the gallon over the course of 2 days - water with Cal/Mag and molasses only.
Gotcha. I’m learning my way through this.
