Lets see your BUD Porn (you know you got some)

Super cool!!! I just started a quick auto grow to try something new but plan on planting the Durban Thai c99 next. Hoping these fast buds are quick as advertised so I can get onto the Grimm stuff. Gonna be growing all organic after this grow so it should be interesting.
Did you notice anything with your grow of these???

Congrats on your FastBud autos. I’ve heard some great stuff about them. I’ve been thinking about getting some of theirs too.

This was my first grow so I noticed everything! I also took a long time in veg due to lighting and gnat problems after bringing them indoors in August. Yeah, August. I started the seeds July 12th and did the flip on January 11th. They were really good sized before the stretch and before the droop started yesterday, they were easily 48” tall. I did top them 3-4 times so there was fairly wide spread in an effort to keep them shorter.

I’m sequential harvesting and have 2 zips from the first (code name Vesper) already and she’s still kicking with a bunch of smaller buds that aren’t ripe yet. Sophia (the second) is at least a week behind her sister and her buds are still bulking up with some white pistils. I do believe she’s foxtailing but it just makes her prettier.

Since I dropped both seeds at the same time and one is going at least a week longer and looking different, I’m wondering if they’re different phenotypes or just a product of their long, irregular upbringing going between sunlight and LED’s. They smell the same so maybe it will come out in the smoke.

Today is Day 70 of flower for Sophia

Looking great!!! Very excited for your harvest. Gonna have a solid amount from the looks of it!!! So far the fast use are growing great. Just a week from sprout so a ways to go but they’re looking pretty solid already. Definitely recommend them so far. Dropped 5 seeds and all 5 sprouted. One was about two days later than the others but she’s catching up. I got a journal going if you care to follow to see how it goes…

Keepin it Modest with Some FastBuds…

I hear ya on noticing everything from the first grow. I swear I checked them three times a day for the entirety of the grow!!! Ended up stressing one out though and it hermied on me but still ended up with decent smoke!!!

As far as them growing different I had that too. Had two Durban Poisons and they were complete opposites. One was shorter but crazy fat and the other was about 8 inches taller. They both smoke great though!!!

Looks like you’re getting close to chop so congrats!!! Nothing wrong with a long veg. Just means bigger plants!!! Should be stocked for a little while anyways!!!

What the hey, root porn shot, I nearly lost these at 5 weeks when a 4-day heatwave hit and the dreaded black root rot took hold, it took a week’s worth of daily 100ml shots of 3% hydrogen peroxide before they recovered, you can still see the dark band on the roots!

How much peroxide did you use per gal of water?

I use 100 litre (26.5 gallons) totes, minus the headroom for the nett pots leaves a little over half. So I used 100mls per tote per day.

Hydrogen peroxide is unstable and will break down into water and release the extra oxygen molecule as a reactive free radical. Those free radicals will either attach to each other and form an O2 molecule or attach to anything they come in contact with, any organics will be killed on contact by the free radical, including root cells.

So it is a double edged sword and something you need to be wary of, at stronger concentrations hydrogen peroxide is used as a weed killer.

In higher concentration, its highly corrosive, also rocket fuel…

Also of note you do not want to get peroxide on you as it does the same to skin/human cells, kills them on contact!

So i’ve got a 20 gal res i put in 15 ml per gal of water so my total is 300ml. do you think i should divide the 300ml into several days of application?
