Don’t be nervous. Just pick the height you want and snip it at the base of the node. Then repeat for all plants. They can take it, I promise
I would take gorilla tape wrap it tite around the stalk to were when bent over it has 3 and half feet from the lights. Then take a pair of pliers a and start squeezing the stem until it is smashed enough to just bend over at 90 degrees. After bent tie to a stake so it stays at 90. They will heal from that and all the side branches will streatch up for an even canopy.
Would do that with some and chop some like said above. Then at harvest decide which method I like best.
@MattyBear when you base of the node where do you mean exactly? I’m afraid to cut too much off
Basically it’s right above where the fan leaves are protruding. I marked up your picture of possible spots to cut
I would see where you want them to be and then try and cut them all at the same height, give them a week to recover and then flip to flower.
@MattyBear This white line would be your third red arrow down from the top or the first red arrow from the bottom up, same picture. So where the white line is?
Yessir, that will work
The goal is to have as even of a canopy as possible so they all get the same amount of light and aren’t shadowing the lower growth. I would also recommend stripping the bottom 1/3 of the plant because it will end up being larfy popcorn buds that will steal energy from the tops
