I’ll post it tonight when I get off work but it’s expensive, it’s not cheap $1800 but it’s 1800 watts I believe but only draws 680 watts which is a very strong light and it 
runs cooler than a black dog Led platinum.
@man10101 have you look into the new Advance spectrum Maxx LED lights? Check those out and tell what you think?

i see it uses better leds that the vipar (3W Bridgelux BXr AIRCRAFT (!?!) LED chips vs 5Watt Bridgelux/Epileds LED Chips)
I take it thats where the higher price comes from!?!
altho i see the vipar uses 5w chips?!?
suppose the better quality leds dont need to be of a higher power?!?
one thing ive also learnt looking into lights is that you all have a much better choice over in the usa!
most of the brands uve mentioned arnt easily available over here in the uk unless ur happy to order form overseas
in fact if i look at uk only results on google there is only one page with the Advance spectrum Maxx and thats a fleabay uk seller whos in california thats doesnt ship to the uk?!?

one thing i thought id add is that i cant wait for the led lights to be more established
the biggest problem choosing between them is that all we really have to go on at the moment is either exaggerated manufacturer claims or over hyped reviews from people trying to get more free stuff to review?!?
the only info u can trust is the grow diarys from the people (like urself n the thers on this n other sites) who have been kind enough to post them online
hopefully in a few years when theyre a lot more common place there will be more honest / reliable info to base ur decision on!?!

Thx for the info, I haven’t purchase thermometer yet, still looking into that and a humidity combo type device, also a ph/tds meter which I have models recommended by posters here. Got to get my ducks in row!

@man10101 that’s a heliospectra Led which is pretty high tech, it has a WiFi connection that can be control by WiFi remote I think almost like the Kind XL1000 where you can simulate sun pattern far as dawn, high noon, and sunset or cloudy over cast days. I’m not sure on most of the details due to the design I think coverage would be and issue in a large open grow area but I think its what I’ve read a while ago but I did see a tremendous return from them in a grow I’ve seen on YouTube.

can anyone give a definitive best option for 2x2x5 tent?
It depends on your budget. I had over 3000 Led watts in a 2x2x5 tent with a Big CFM 440 inline fan to move the heat and bring fresh air in the tent. 2 XTE Advance Led 200’s and XTE Veg oil blue light only, with a Mars Hydro Pro Series II in a 2x2x5 text, but you have to move a lot of air are your tent will get extremely hot, and supplement CO2 .
even with a unlimited budget there must be a point of diminishing returns
If you’re willing to spend that, go with a quantum board led. It will run much cooler, save on electricity, and offers great light for your plants.
For a blurple light, Advanced Platinum is very good quality, though.
i guess i would need to run controlled experiments side by side with different lights to see the differences.
as ive said in a previous post. ill never understand light. its a wave and its a particle.
