Something like 600-1200 depending on the conversion factor your meter is set at (5 or 7). You’d be safe aiming for 800-1000, no matter that conversion factor, during this stage.
Ok I will get on it when I get home tonight. Thank you and hopefully I can get ahead of this before it’s too late
I tagged you in a Fox Farms Schedule thread. It is old, but has good info. If you reply on there, people will respond. @raustin also runs Fox Farm nutes, but she does the whole line, not just the trio.
Isnt that lady lovely! All solid advice and checks off that list. Get them knocked and your girl will thank you. Amazing advice as always Betty
Most definitely. Thank you @blackthumbbetty. Hopefully this will get my girls right. Just hope it’s not too late when I get home
So what is the ideal Height for my light to be its a 400w MH?
14-19 inches, to start. Find what works w/o causing light burn or stretching plants.
Ok I did a flush but it was just one plant that was that high on ppm and ph. The others were about 400ppm and the ph was 6.4-6.6 the one plant that was out of wack was not the one with yellowing leaves. I got the ppm down to 400 on the one but couldn’t get the ph down the more I flushed the higher it got somewhere around 7.4 I don’t know what’s going on with this one plant
You used tap water that you ph’d to 6.5?
That pH needs to come down. Hmmmmm…well, try running another gallon of of 5.5 pH’d water. Do it slowly & check the runoff after 8 cups. If after 8 cups, no change/low change, bump the remaining water down to 5.0. Trust me, you’ll be fine. A true flush is 3x the amount of water as size of the pot. That’s a lot of water, and these plants do well with an occasional flush.
Once your pH is corrected, if your ppm fell too low, go ahead and do a light feeding pH’d to 6.5. Check runoff to make sure all ok. If pH is too high, next time you water & feed, you know you’ll need to adjust it a little lower.
I just had to do this to 2 of my plants. I truly promise, I’m not trying to kill your plants.
Indeed she did. And without weed to smoke. Spent half the morning watching her rant and squirm over pH good times
Yes, yes you did. And yes, yes I did. Lol!
Ok I’ll have to do it when I get home tonight. You think it’s too long to keep it at that level. I ran about 5 gallons through her last night and she is in a 3 gallon fabric pot
Nope. After this, though, let her dry out. It could be another week before she’ll need more water.
I just can’t get this figured out I ran 5 more gallons at 5.5 and it’s coming out even higher at 7.8
Is your pH meter calibrated properly??
Yeah I recalibrated it after the first two gallons because I thought it might be out.
What?!
@raustin wtf is going on, here?
Do they need to start adding some hard core ph down agents? Lime? Was the mix filled with something causing this…something time release?
