Do it. Dwc isn’t all that hard. You just gotta check pH more add hydroguard to ur nutes n change the water in the tub kinda often

I have a home made bubble cloner I guess it’s not much different than that. But I really wanna get this coco grow going kinda hydro but not really. I know it’s soil less. But man hydro cookies

Dwc is really so easy once u get the basics. I still haven’t messed around with Coco. No need. I’mma try soil before Coco too

It’s a big gap as far as Ph is conserand from real hydro to soil less. But I hear coco will definitely increase harvest.
Dwc speeds up veg and supposedly gives a 20% increase in harvest

You guys are going to talk me into trying DWC with my next grow.
If you were going to run no more than a 4 plant system, what size air pump would you recommend or do you have a specific one you could recommend?

These would be great for a 4 plant set up. I have one that I use for my flower tent, which holds up to 4 plants. For my veg plant I use a monster air pump:
The more air, the better. Always.

Those are probably all wonderful… But I personally just use pumps n stones from Petco lol. I keep 2 in my tubs that are 3-4 gallons of water n it does fine n they’re nice n lil lol

It’s funny u want to start dwc n I’m thinking how bad I wanna try a soil run lol. I think once my gold leaf finish I’mma do a big auto flower grow to empty my seedbank. Do a northern lights in soil n one dwc and the same with blueberry. See the differences in size grow speed and most importantly harvest!

@ktreez420, have you used the EcoPlus unit? How quiet is it?
If I jump in I will probably run 1 plant. Probably Jack Herer fem.
I know you say your pumps are good, but I guarantee better growth with a higher output air pump. Yes, the cheap little fish pumps will work, but in the long run you won’t get good air flow, specially to 4 plants with a little aquarium air pump. I run 6-10 plants at a time, bigger is better here when it comes to air pumps. Just my experience and opinion!
If you start small, say $10-20, but end up needing a second one, or a better air pump, then you’re spending another $10-20 at least. Where you could have just bought an awesome, high quality re-buildable pump from the start. Again, just my opinion, I started off with the cheap little pumps too and thought they were great, but little did I know how much they suck compared to the big ones! Plus, I added more plants, so I needed higher air output. If you plan on doing more plants buy bigger from the start.

They all have a buzz to them, but it’s nothing crazy. Compared to an AC unit it’s almost soundless. My big pump has a louder buzz, but even that isn’t as loud as an AC unit.
