Leaf discoloration and spots, need advice

Hello, I’ll start off by saying I’m on my second grow.

The first one had its share of troubles, but with this new one I’m faced with an issue I have not seen before, and I am at my wit’s end.

Right from when the first leaves appeared, they’ve had this discoloration and pattern on them which I did not see in the previous one. I don’t have a good way to describe it, but have been taking regular photos. It seems it did not stop growing, but it has kept this aspect even in the newer leaves, albeit somewhat less.

I have tried looking for images that depict a similar fate but have not had much luck, leading me to create this topic.

As for watering/light, I have been giving pH-adjusted water (6.2/6.4), no nutes yet (but the substrate does have some and has perlite mixed in as well). The light schedule is 18/6 from an LED light, full spectrum.
Being an auto I have opted to start on the final pot and have been watering around it to ensure it’ll extend the roots, and not stay wet too long. It has been around 1 week since I placed the seed in the pot.

I believe at some point this past week I underwatered it, I was not home on the day I was supposed to water it, so it dried the soil quite a bit. Other than that I can’t think of what can possibly be wrong this early on.

Any input will be appreciated, thanks.

I believe it is fine. I have had many little ones start out with some discoloration and turn out to be fine plants. Some of this type of discoloration may occur with some insects or pests, fungus gnats can occur in soil grows. As long as you are inspecting for that type of damage, or if you see anything crawling about your soil or flying about and make it a mission to destroy it, I think it is just being a new plant figuring out how to be a big plant.
Keep an eye on invaders. I think you are off to a good start.
Good luck! :four_leaf_clover:

Soil looks to wet to me plants still should have dome on them for first 2 weeks

Youll be fine. Been in your shoes. Allow your soil to dry out, place a clear solo cup on her for about 48 hours misted. After the soil dries out, water in a circle about 4 to 5 inches from the base of the plant. You want your roots looking for water, but need to dry out the soil first.
