No doubt, I had to crank the ac in the lung room yesterday, hitting 80 today, be 30 in a couple days! About to put a mini split in so I can set temp to auto and forget it.

Might be cheaper and easier to just add a controller to your existing ac

Window unit in lung room, portable in flower room, mini split isn’t going to cost me anything. I’ve been heating with a milk house heater, pulls a lot of power, the split system will keep it where I want hot or cold……electric heater will be for backup on freezing cold days.
