From my limited knowledge much like yours. I think it looks like she’s Foxtailing.
Your new pistils are fox tailing like @registereduser said.
This can be from lights being to close or heat being to high, something is not dialed in right you want to fix that. Some is genetics but normally genetic fox tailing looks different.
Your getting there but by tricomb pictures you still have time to hurry up and wait.
You want as much white cloudy tricombs as possible. It will give you the highest thc percentage as well as stick to the genetics grown in effects. Amber is degraded thc that has turned into cbn and to much can make you sick and other I’ll effects while clear is immature and can cause paranoia etc. But also the theory is, yet it has yet to be actually proven, is more Amber is more couch lock and more clear is more cerebral buzz.
@registereduser
Don’t use an electric dryer or dehydrator in the future, the slower the dry the better ideally it should take around a week to dry a plant.
You dry it until the stems are just about to crack when you break them but still bend a bit (they say snap but I find this always is over drying) then you place is jars with a humidtor so you can monitor the inside humidity. Vent the jar also know as burping when the humidity goes above 62%. Once the jars stable at 62% then you can place a humidity pack inside your jar like a boost or any other ones you get off amazon or local stores.
Let it sit for AT LEAST A MONTH, normally I find it takes 2 months after they have settled at 62%. Before its fully cured, your in experienced nose may tell you it’s done before but I promise you if you wait that long you will learn what true bud smells like.
If at any time you over dry it stick a slice of fruit like a lime in it, but only for like 24hr before switch it or it may mold.
Thanks Nicky. Solid advice as usual. I will move that plant to the other light and turn it down a little. I really came close to buying the Wedryer. But I decided to hold off and wait and see how this first batch turns out. I am trying out some new living soil and they recommend Auto Pots. So my interest is elevated even more. You are killing it with your set up. Thanks again.
Your trying sohum soil? @TDubWilly tried it but now gets a similar product that’s cheaper I think it’s called coast of main.
Thank you, I would say I’m not killing it this grow because of my under feeding but I have more plants on the grow so should do decently well, time to feed hump the outdoor autopots today.
If you get the wedryer get the XL version, it’s a good option if you don’t have a spare tent to dry in.
I am using Great Lakes Water Only soil by the Detroit Nutrient Company.
This next grow I will go traditional drying. So far the people that I have let sample my first round really like it, that includes my wife who’s not really a smoker. Thank you for your advice and I will definitely take it as creative criticism.
That’s what i use.
Sohum was just the one with all the videos
Time for the weekly update. I think I need to change the title of this journal to something like “the grow that never ends” or “New world record for auto grow” . It feels like they are never gong to finish. Today is day 105 since sprouting. They are getting closer but I can’t believe it has taken this long. The breeder’s site says 64-70 days from sprouting to harvest. I know they are wrong on those days but here we are. I feel good about the plants. They are continuing to swell up some. And hey I have proven I can keep an auto alive for over 100 days. The 2 Glue Gelatos are the closest. But new bud growth keeps showing up and I have looked pretty good and the trichs are still some clear and most cloudy. Just a little bit of amber but more clear than I think they should be. The 2 LSDs are still mostly clear but getting more cloudy as time goes by. Well here are the pics for the week.
The smallest one is showing a little fox tailing in her top again. It had mostly cleared up but starting to come back again. The temps in the tent have been in the mid to upper 70’s and the RH has been 50-58 most days. So I am not sure what is going on. Take care and stay high.
Looking great my friend
Nice chunky girls there!
Foxtailing can be from to much light or to much heat, maybe raise your lights a bit.
Genetics play a vital role to.
100 days ugh I hear you I have two Northern lights from a no name breeder and they should be in 3rd week of flower by the very least… But nope… So I have them on 12/12 best I can since they are out food plants I vrjbg in my shed for darkness. Prior I did 2 days of darkness so flip has been forced hope they show soon
I moved the lights up about 6 inches. Will see if it helps. I am also filpping to 12/12 next week for the photo I have in the tent so maybe they will take the hint and hurry the h3ll up.
It is time for the weekly update. quick recap I have 4 autos in Kind Soil and FF Coco Loco. It has been water only with no nutes added. Today is 112 days since sprouting. They are coming along but still some clear and mostly cloudy trichs. I have seen a couple amber ones on buds with a good amount more on the leaves. They are really testing my patience. So far I am doing pretty good. I do see some progress it is just coming pretty slow. Well here are the pics for the week.
Later tonight or tomorrow I will get a few microscope pics to see what you all think. I am just plugging along and staying as patient as I can. Stay safe and high.

Outmotherfreakinstanding my friend. You got this
Looking damn good! I’m interested in trying the the kind soil set up next time. So what do ya think? Do you like the results? Would you use same set up again? 112 days huh? And still no nutes? The y look damn yummy nicely done
Nice work! There was no way I could have let mine go any longer. Can’t wait for your harvest and scientific testing of final product!
Thanks.I do like the soil. I started a photo Acapulco Gold seed with it 8 weeks ago. It is doing good. A lot bigger that the first 4 here. This is my first grow and I think I made a few mistakes that led to such short plants. But the buds are getting nice and fat. Here is the Acapulco Gold I have in Kind Soil and FF Coco Loco. And I have not given them anything but water phed at 6.7-6.9.
Very nice! All looks awesome! Acapulco Gold wow that’s one I haven’t heard in years. Curious to see how that one finishes.
Yeah I am really excited to try it. Here is the description of the strain from the breeder.
Barneys Farm are continually pushing the limits of marijuana genetics, improving their selection and breeding processes to create something that is truly breath-taking. Acapulco Gold is the next generation of marijuana. Like the original namesake the Acapulco Gold flowers with fat colas, flecked with beautiful reddish brown calyx, each covered with beautiful crystals of THC. The smoke has an intense fruit cocktail flavour that lingers for hours. This is a Sativa dominant strain that offers a long lasting high, balancing relaxing stress reduction with a real upbeat effect. Acapulco Gold far surpasses the rhapsodized smoke of days past.
@OldTimeRockAndGrow. Are those 3 or 5 gallon pots for the autos? They say 1 pound of kind soil for every 1 gallon of pot? Correct? Just wondering if the 3 gallons make it all the way thru harvest without adding nutes. I’ve read up on kind soil set up, I know they say it will on the website. But I’m from Missouri. So “show me”. And since you just did it… I’d take your word farther than a salesman for kind soil. Lol. Thanks for the info. And when’s the bbq and smoking debut for those beautiful buds. . Just tell me what time I should be there and what do I need to bring. Lol. Congrats on the harvest. Would love to see those buds after a good cure. They’re going to kick your ass!!!
