THE ONE GROW I DIDN’T START OUT BY COVERING THE TENTS’ FLOORS WITH DE!!

Well, I went to feed my girls and noticed little white crawlies on Solomatic. Probably one or two on each freaking leaf, just zooming along.

Look, I’m not going to lie. I didn’t bother checking anything else, I started treatment stat!

  1. I grabbed my sprayer, went to the kitchen, stripped naked, filled the sprayer with 500 ml tepid tap, and 500ml H202. Then, I sprayed the butt scum out of all Tent A girls and the tent and the fans.

  2. I let that dry for a few minutes, then I cropdusted the hell out of Tent A with food grade Diatomaceous Earth.

  3. I realized I may have gone overboard and rinsed the plants off with more H2O/H2O2. Fairly certain there will be plenty of residue once it dries. I used an entire bottle of Peroxide.

  4. I closed Tent A and then sprinkled DE on the outside of the tent and around the bottom. I also made a band of DE about 2 feet wide around both tents.

  5. I was too scared to really open Tent B, in case I had any mites on me. I looked in and couldn’t see anything moving; they’re big enough to see from a couple feet away. So, I decided to go ahead and just dust that tent with DE.

  6. Tomorrow, I will check EVERYTHING INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE TENTS. This room is getting DE’d top to bottom. The plants will all get treated with ISO/H20, which will also allow me to rinse off the DE from any budsites in Tent B.

  7. Every other day for 2 weeks, each plant will get treated with ISO/H2O

I knew this grow was going too smooth!

Anyway, I had planned on feeding everyone, but only did the 2 youngest before I noticed the mites. They got a Grow meal. Tomorrow, the others will get a Grow/Transition meal. These sexy but unwelcome bugs really pushed it. I’d prefer no baby budsites to get jiggy with, now, but oh well.

I’ll post the exact meal formulations, tomorrow. Right now, I need to smoke some pot. Also, I look like a bag of coke exploded on me. This is going to be my life for at least 2 weeks, now.

Day#28/17

Belated Big Girl Feed Day: GROW-TRANSITION
(Little girls got same feed as Feb 11)

Bubbled for 60 hours:
4 gals Tap
3Ÿ tsp Grow
3⅓ tbsp Catalyst
1⅔ tbsp Meta K
1⅓ tbsp Bloom

After bubbling:
1 gal Tap
1⅔ tbsp Demeter
1⅔ tbsp Epsom
1 tbsp Recharge
Adjusted to 6.2

Each plant received 10 cups.

BEFORE feeding, I rinsed off/treated the plants with a solution of 4:1 H2O:70% ISO. I used 2 bottles of ISO. I plan on doing this every other day for 2 weeks, but I will use significantly less since I won’t be rinsing off DE.
