Today, I’m hoping to finally get around to making lava cakes from your recipe! :woman_facepalming:
I’m not much of a cook, so I’ll see how much I mess it up. :joy:
But how badly can chocolate get messed up?

(From Kap’s post awhile ago)

The recipe is super easy and gives 2 servings. You need an Air fryer…

A bit of butter and 1 spoon of cacao:

Prepare 2 ramekins by greasing them with butter and add a bit of cacao powder just to coat all the surfaces to make the cake easier to take out and help it rise.

Dark chocolate: 1/4 cup (45 grams)
Butter: 1/4 cup
Egg: 1
Egg yoke: 1
Powdered sugar: 1/4 cup
All-Purpose flour: 1/4 cup
Unsweetened Cacao: 1 tbsp
Salt: a small pinch

Put the butter and the chocolate in a microwaveable dish. Melt it in the microwave by 30 seconds increments. Make sure to stir it between each increments. It usually takes me about 40 seconds to melt everything. Make sure you don’t microwave too much or you’ll ā€œburnā€ the chocolate…
Stir slowly until you have a nice texture.

In another bowl:
Mix the egg, egg yoke and the sugar until it’s all nicely mixed together.
Add in the flour, cacao and salt and mix until it’s all smooth.
Once you have a nice texture, gently incorporate the melted chocolate and butter.
Divide the mixture in the 2 ramekins

Put both ramekins in your Air Fryer. Cook at 165° C (330° F) about 8 to 9 minutes.
Once cooked, take them out and let them rest for about 2 minutes.
Demould carefully on a plate using oven gloves (it’s really hot…)

If you don’t have an Air Fryer:

Preheat your oven to 180° C (350° F).
Cook both ramekins for 18 to 20 minutes, until the sides are firm but the center still soft.
Let them rest 2 minutes before serving.
