@MrPeat, @Travis23 If you blow heated air out aren’t you afraid neighbors would smell it ? I could rig it out a window but I’m afraid of smell. It would be a second floor window but you never know which way wind is blowing when neighbors are cooking out. I bought a 6 " fan with carbon filter. Last year I had some plants (outside) that were stinky from 6" till i cut them down. I read here somewhere that they don’t smell until flowering. Is that because they are inside? This a great site, I welcome comments and honest criticism from any all!
I don’t have to worry about the smell. ![]()
@BeeKeeper2 we are goimg to use a carbon filter as well to keep the smell away. We are hoping that does the trick. But we did grow outdoor last year and did not seem to have any issues. @MrPeat thats nice! We were going to just blow the air back into the room but then we would not reall have frssh air coming into the tent.
Anyone have any suggestions for a inline fan and filter before i order the ones we chose tonight?! Thanks again for all the information!
This is the brand many growers use id my memory serves me.
Yeah that’s 250 and the Vivosun I bought is 150 but for the extra $100 you get the temp/rh controller and an extra, something like 400 CFM. Well worth it. I should have went with the t6.
@MrPeat @RandomlyRan I have been reading alot about that one. It seem to be a really good one. I will talk with the wife tonight about it. Should i just do their carbon filter as well or stick with the one i got? I know that part gets replaced ever so often. Basically is it worth the extra money to have their filter over someone else. Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.
If your filter is still good use it. If it matches the fan. Your filter will have a rating of cfm that is matched with the cfm of the fan.
Ok thank you @RandomlyRan! I have not got a fan yet. But will make sure the one i get can handle the cfm from the t6.
So is the only difference between the S6 and T6 the temperature and Humidity controller? Is it worth it to have the controller? The fan should be constantly running right to change the air?
I have the same as you random. Ill buy the better one when this one pukes.
I’m not sure if the controller controls on/off or variable fan speed. I would assume it controls fan speed, the higher the temp the faster the fan turns to exhaust it.
Thank you guys for all the information! We appreciate it!
I know everyone really like the HLG 260xl but has anyone ever used these? Just curious. They say they are new for 2020.

If you read in the description it says it only consumes 100w. It only covers a 2x2 for flowering.
I did see that. so i want something that consumes at least 500 watts? So if i went with something like this it would have to be 2 p2500.
Yes two of the p2500 would work but I’d have to call in @dbrn32 because the spectrum looks really blue in the chart.
Thanks @RandomlyRan! Just trying to understand everything. Lots to take in and intend to overthink things sometimes.
You would probably want 5-6 of them to flower a 4x4. When you look at that way wouldn’t really be saving any money than going with the 260 xl kits. And you’re probably getting better product with the hlg kits.
5 ir 6 if the p1000 or p2500? Thanks for the reply? I appreciate it.
