Im still iffy on topping my autos. I always seem to stunt them without it. But everyone looka good. BG is actually catching up. N JH looks great. U know NL goes without mention :rofl:. Happy Sunday J.

Happy Sunday all, thanks for the info purp and HD. I stunted my past blueberry I trained but I realize now, I waited to late on her…still undecided on the topping. Back to reading and searching for others auto topping results

Exactly :grinning:
Glad you enjoy my butterflies @Mrcrabs :butterfly:

Morning Jewels  after stunting my one auto from topping her I’m not a good one to ask lol going forward I’ll be too skittish to try and top an auto again. They’re such finicky b’tchs lol

@Missiles I thought I was remembering right  how old was she when you topped?

LST. Don’t top. Not unless it’s an auto strain you’ve grown before, so you have an idea of its life cycle.

If you do, top the moment the fourth node can be snipped off.

Mine was around 3weeks I think when I topped her. I think my problem was I didn’t wait until the stretch was over. I topped her during the stretch and it stunted her.

I would LST and then start super cropping when they stronger, more developed.

@greenthunder sent me some great how-to videos of her supercropping like crazy. I gotta admit, Imascared to try it on autos, myself. I see all you bada$$ weedwarriors doing that and think to myself: blackthumbbetty, don’t you effing dare try to get fancy with that shizz, because you know you’ll eff it up.

Since @Budbrother’s dogcropping… i can crop with impunity. Loads let stressful them my horrible excuse for fims…

Just depends how you want her to grow. Topping will slow vertical growth temporarily imo, but will give you multiple colas etc.

I’m thinking LST.
I have this same fear :joy:

I’m thinking LST. That, I have experience with. I don’t have any experience with Jack Herer though. She’s good for now then, LST will commence at a later date :+1:
I appreciate your opinions. I also read a lot of failures in my search for knowledge on the subject. Some very nice successful tops. Ya, I’d eff it up. She’s growing too well for that. :v::green_heart:

@GreenJewels

Sorry a little off the LST post, but I have some friends in the north that’ll be making the long journey south very soon.

@GreenJewels You are welcome. I love watching them develop then take off. They have a really long way to go from where I’m at. It’s amazing they can travel that far.

Good afternoon @GreenJewels, I have zero experience w autos but I see you got some good advice from people who know what they’re talking about. I would have opted for the lst as well, plus I’d hate to see anything bad happen to Jack H, especially since she’s doing so nicely (as are the others, but JH is the one I’m rooting for) :slightly_smiling_face:

I super cropped autos in this journal, however, I did LST for a long time 1st, and I waited until they were growing vigorously.

Looking good jewels. I’m not brave enough to top autos. That’s some great pics of the Caterpillar.
