So far so good, abot 60 days sense 12/12 and the last res change. 1150 - 1250 ppm 5.8 - 6.1 ph. Starting to see some color, sense about Thursday. Started phasing in Overdrive and phaseing out Big Bud with top up buckets. Finally decided to run a drain hose out of the dehumidifier into my fresh water reserve trash can so i wont have to dump it anymore, just keep it clean.
Day 63 from 12/12 and the last res change. 1250 ppm 5.8 -6.1 PH. I have to say i am pretty happy with the results of Bud Factor X. Dense, smelly, sticky bud. Monday doing some tieing I broke a bud off Beaver Cookies, tried it yesterday. I can even describe it other than a sweet danky funk that only makes you want
more.
@CooterJuice im running a test and so far its crazy. Ive been adding about 400 ml of Carboload each week in 2 applications of 200. One on bacteria day, and one 3 or 4 days after. The filter and stabilized res keep it from turning into a disaster with stuff growing in it and everything is suuuuper sweet.
Day 71 from 12/12 1150-1250 ppm, 5.8 - 6.1 ph. Getting close, im going to take PTO this coming week and start chopping next weekend. I wet trim as i go and they keep growing the whole time. Order looks like its going to be Girl Scout Cookies, Gelato Runts, massive Bruce Banner. I think that will drive the last two Beaver Cookies and King Cone into after work projects for the 2 weeks/weekends after that and will end up being chopped in week 13 or so.
Thanks Bobboo, i really appreciate it. I’ve learned so much reading and watching the community here. This forum is a goldmine of knowledge. I’m still learning and its exciting to think about future grows because it just keeps getting better.
Drainage mod update. For the most part this “helped” and will work, but not perfectly. Tossing some ideas around i finally found the solution, but will be some time before i make the once and for all final mod.
Challenge:
Plants will grow into whatever you have, and two 3" drains will work, but only slows down the inevitable. Roots clogging the drain.
Root Cause: Drain located at bottom of bucket where roots grow.
Solution:
Instead of a normal opening at base of bucket. Install 3/4 inch PVC bell drain. Pipe enters bucket 4 or 5" off the deck and turns 90 degrees up . Top of pipe should be even with late flower desired water level. In feed line extended to fill from bottom of 13 gallon bucket.
Roots will grown down past the bell drain to bottom of bucket where nute solution is, recirc will feed from bottom, when water level in bucket reaches bell drain it drains back to return line then into res.
Early veg when water level exceeds drain pipe will be full and water will be pushed by gravity back to res.
I think in the summer after the next grow i am going to modify with plans for a final rebuild with 3/4 " drain lines running to a 1" drain all installed with bell type drains in each bucket.
77 days from 12/12 lowered ppm feom 1250 to 1150, 5.8 - 6.1 ph. Thing are wrapping up. Bruce bannee sprouted naners caught them same day and chopped it before any ooened. Gelato was also ready and got chopped. King Come, Girl Scout Cookies and Beaver Cookies still growing.
