Jack's vs Chemgro, Nicky's 2nd attempt

Yes I bumped my epsom to 1.5g a gallon. Everything I have seems fine now, but you might have your light turned up more. I don’t worry too much about the lower leaves though.

Yeah I’ve had to bump it up as well. Also had to reduce the calcium on a few plants. I had to bump gold leaf up to 1.8 grams of magnesium

I never have any issues with Jacks in veg (or early flower) with regular recipe (3.6,1.2,2.4), only issues seem to come after mid-flowering with what might be potassium deficiencies.

Wouldn’t hurt to bump up the epsom some and see how they respond.

I have to run at least a 1.4 my self or I see issues when I get near flower time.

Sorry Nicky, but I never ran into this issue.

Looks like everyone gave you great advice. Good luck!

Wait you mean 3.6/2.4/1.2 right… Hence jacks 321 =p

@Covertgrower @BobbyDigital did you bump it for veg or only transitioning and flower?

@Covertgrower ahhh yes… I maxed lights out because I wasn’t home and it was the easiest thing for the wifey to do while I go through transition to keep the stretch under control.

I also don’t worry about lower leafs but best to stay Ontop of it early.

I’ll bump it to 1.8 since I’m heavy on the lighting just was wondering if you guys do it in veg to? It’s definitely because I out them in a new tent and cranked up the lighting.

Lights.
I increased mine to 1.5g because I can dial in where the plants are happy and I’m running my fixture at it’s efficiency range. They’re still plenty bright, and it seems just right.

If you’re running 1.8, that should be pretty good, may even go up to 2, if you see anything happening.

Totally.
Are you running it in veg though? Or just transition and flower?

Sorry forgot that part. Same recipe from start to finish.

I’ve never needed to in veg. Only in flower when the lights are at their most intense.

Thanks for the reply’s guys.

I think I will run 3.6/2.4/1.5 and see how that works out next veg/transition. If I have issues I’ll bump to 1.8

First two weeks of flower I’m running the mkp booster 2/2.7/2/1.2
Jacks
Cal nitrate
Epson salts
Mkp

When I finish that and kick back to no mkp I’ll be running the 4/2.4/1.5
I don’t know if 4g is needed maybe only 3.8 is but I had good success last time and like @Hellraiser mention in flower they get a bit more hungry.

What do you think guys? @Hellraiser what is your plan to run in flower now?

I’m doing 4/2/1 in flowering this time around and will see how that goes. Also adding Tribus original 1ml/gal every watering, giving fulvic acid (1g/gal) on wednesdays and recharge on sundays (once a week).

With the increase in part A, also getting a little more epsom salt as there is some in the part A so I’ve reduced the pure epsom salt by a tiny bit, but will kick it back up if I see any signs of magnesium deficiency. Reduced part B from 2.4 to 2 as I don’t think they need as much nitrogen in flowering but will kick it up if any calcium or nitrogen deficiencies start to show.

@Hellraiser You are running more of the A? Just asking because I am looking like I need to cut back. I am showing to much N in flower. Or do I have my letters mixed up. Looking at your deal there. Is it B that has the N in it. I always thought it was the A. I tossed my bag this came in. I have to run at least a 1.4 for the epsom or get mag issues every time

Yes B is the nitrogen.

Thanks @KPC I am making a post it up right now so I remember. Some things just don’t seem to stick in my brain lol :+1:

Part A has a little nitrogen in it (5-12-26), part B is all about the nitrogen and calcium (15-0-0).

I agree with the B and standard mix gives to much nitrogen in flower.

I’m liking your mix @Hellraiser it’s along the same lines I was thinking. Just usiging fishshit instead and no flulvic because I haven’t bought any yet, I did get the mkp though so maybe fulvic next round

How long until. I can flip after a major defoilation /trim?
@Covertgrower with photos of course

Clones are potted into soil and main tent has been netted, flip was messed up due to timer issues had to net and trim em all back ALOT.

You can flip any time after a trim. You’ll likely need to trim again into the 3rd week of transition.

Thanks for that @Covertgrower.
I think I’ll wait at least a dya or two.
Most definitely will defoilate again yeah.
