@Audiofreak All I can tell people is the outdoor cannibus and hemp food from Jack’s definitely works and easy to use the price is reasonable also , my first year switching from FFT , Not bad Fertilizer but this is the Best I have used Bigger plant’s and unbelievable growth rate , Safe to add all organic stuff too I like Fish Fertilizer and Earthworm Castings along with Jack’s
It sounds like your using Jacks every watering. How often do you use Jacks 321…? Once a week in flower. I am a little confused on this. I need help…
I’m using coco and auto pots, so basically feed every day. I fead daily when top feeding as well
Hola @anon34311147 i feed twice a week… Usually Saturday or Sunday and Wednesday… With Jack’s, epsum salt, silica, and Calcium Nitrate… Any more and I’d be over watering… Using Roots Organics Original in 7 gallon fabric pots.
Gees, no wonder why the one i have in coco had twisting and yellow brown spotted leaves with holes in them. At first i thought it was insects but once the new growth came out and still had the twisting deformed leaves, thats when i realized its somemore.
I checked the run off and it was off the charts. It was over 3000 ppm!! I had 2 plants that i just flushed that were having pH issues and also brought the ppms down to a manageable level at 1500. I have them in flower. I have a few more that are way high in ppms also but it dosent seem to affect them…?
I am not that good yet so i have to measure everything. Once I’ve done this a few times i will be as good as you guys.
Audiofreak is right, you are gonna need a husqvarna or a stihl to take that baby done. Jack’s is the best and easiest to use. Can’t complain. Feel like they should hire me to plug their stuff.
After a few failures in homemade organic soil mixes, I’ve switched to pure Canna Coco and feeding Jacks according to the greengene’s schedule below. I am on day 11 of veg and my plants are lovin it so far. I like the cleanliness of coco and simplicity of Jack’s nutrients.
Im about to start this exact setup not sure if it’s a dumb question but how long can jacks be stored in the container before I have to pour a new batch in.
It stays good for a long time. Just seal it up good to keep moisture/humidity out or it will start disolving.
Switched to Jacks this season Good results so far cant complain easy to use and you can also adjust the recommended amounts to suit your plants if needed… also…No questions are dumb…ask away!!
Jacks 3.6. 2.4. 1.2. Heres my one year summary on jacks.
We invested in a quality pH pen and learned to dial the desired ppm in. We like knowing our filtered water, Zero Water filter comes with installed TDS pen and we start with less than 10 ppm. Tap water is okay at 300 ppm. Okay, based on that, your tap is okay to feed a seedling. Yet you added nothing to reach 300 ppm for seedling, all tap nutes contolled by city worker. Were as with a filtered water close to RO numbers, you know what you are feeding your plant.
Jr peters aka Jacks was selling fertilizer for well over 50 yrs to farmers before cannabis was legal. Now over 75 yrs in the business.
Jacks is that simple.
Finally getting to my second 25lb bags of jacks I started first grow with GH flora trio switched to jacks after that first grow. First bags lasted me almost 2 years and prolly 125 to 150 plants watered daily for the most part some days would get a day without watering but for most part it was daily 15 to 20 gallons mixed and used and the bags lasted me about 2 years. Lol. Def worth it on my eyes.
So do you feed every day ?
Yes besides a lazy day here or there
After my first grow here, I’ve come to the understanding of how important it is to feed your plants. Especially when flowering. Its as imperative to the quality and amounts of Terpenes and THC as it will allow the plant to produce to its fullest capacity. I had alot of light on my plants but wasnt feeding them enough. This grow, my second, i will be feeding them like swines in a bog ready to butcher for bacon.
I use Jack’s 321 with Autopots. I modulate the strength of the feed water, but I almost always keep it at 5.8 pH in the reservoir. Very simple. It’s pretty sweet!
Looks great! My plants are being fed enough. I am using full strength Jacks 321 and they still look like they need more. They are tak8ng 5 days to dry out and i water in a full feed. Still getting alot of light green and yellowing leaves.
Jack’s is an outstanding nutrient line that’s inexpensive and easy to use. I paired it with TPS Billions, Fish Sh!t, Epsom, and silica.
