That price is for the 1 Lt.bottle. they have 200 mL and 500 mL as well but you’ll need the 1 l t

Also keep in mind if you ever growing cocoa they have a version specifically for Cocoa on all their products.

It’s $38.95 at my local retailer. I may need to get some of that Jesus Juice.

I grow in potting soil and no Jacks until about 5 weeks or when the leaves cover the edges of the grow bag.

Then it’s 50% first feeding, then 100% for about 2 weeks then 120% until full flower then back to 100%… but Jacks is very forgiving…wouldn’t really have to do it this way but I still do

Is your soil organic? I used FF Hapy Frog for my last grow. It worked well, but I’d like to control the nutrients from start to finish.

Also, on the most recent episode of GrowCast Podcast they talked about growing in the same soil to conserve inputs and cash. That aligns with my values. I might give it a try.

Believe it or not, I use Miracle Grow Organics 2X.

Yes, Yes, I am one of the few who went over to the Dark Side and am sure I get some strange looks from other growers on here but hey it really works for me and is very consistent!

It can be a little “hot” early in the grow but I think I compensate for that by reducing the early stage nutes uptake by NOT pHing the water the first 2 weeks.

Again, it works great for me and is very predictable unlike some of the other organic brands that seem to vary year to year. But what do I know???

What did you get off of those grows?

I use Happy frog as well it’s extremely cheap at our grow store like $21 a bag for the two cubic foot big bag.

I’m the same way you are I like to have control of nutrients from jump Street I normally wait about 15 days for the roots to start to Branch out and I just flush it and get rid of all their pre-packed nutrients and take control of the grow from there.

I don’t even think you can buy a two cubic foot bags of something good for $21

I get about 3 to 3.5 oz per plant for autos and about 5 to 8 oz per plant off photoperiods depending how long I veg them.

I’ve been growing for 2 years and am currently on my 6th grow.

Once I switched from liquid nutes to Jacks, about the 3rd grow based on recommendations from many on here, I’ll never go back! Jacks is soooo easy and forgiving and cheap

I like your flushing @ 15 days approach.

No, I was just joking.

@Lostgirl — Do you follow charts for the PPMs, pH, etc>

I personally don’t. They also suggest that you do until you figure out your own program.

One thing to remember if you’re utilizing the advanced nutrients pH perfect (bass nutrients) you do not adjust the pH when mixing their feed.

The average grower that I’ve seen feeds their plans between 800 - 1, 000 ppm I feed no plant in my tent ever more than 500 PPM and you’ve seen my girls they’re always happy and healthy. Advanced nutrients, Less is more

I basically have my own chart that I made I’ll take a picture of it when I go back upstairs and show it to you

50% FF ocean forest/ 50% FF Happy frog just PH water for about 4 weeks then Jacks

I’d start with an insert medium.

Iv grown autos from start to finish in ocean forest, happy frog… yes they have nutrients to get you started but it is as good as you could provide? The bags have been so hit or miss lately.

Peat would be watered like soil but phed like hydro. (Promix hp)

Coco would be phed like hydro, and watered daily.

Not trying to steer you any direction, just giving you options. Great results can come from everything that was suggested, just depends on what you wanna do and what fits your schedule best.

I’m very sorry it sounds like most of you live in challenging places…I grow water-only seed to harvest in SIPs, in just decent organic bag soil that costs less than this, and HST autos for QP+ top-shelf harvests at 2+g/watt.

If I lived somewhere I didn’t have access to decent organic soil, I would start composting and make my own soil fwiw.

If someone grew autos effectively indoors; simpler, easier, and cheaper than what I am doing, I would love to hear all about it…I am always willing to learn :slightly_smiling_face:
