Is this normal ? Pink colored pistils

Furthermore I’ve still not been able to figure out why my plants get red stems as well

I grow using LED lighting (HLG 550) and this has been plaguing me the entire time and I still don’t have a solution for it

for sure in the collection reservoir.

Cant confirm that the water toxic or the reservoir has chemical coating.
Just know Not ever again and I manually empty, each unit daily.
Not even down the drain-septic. yes- dump in Yard where I don’t want growth.

Definitely TOXIC to humans and pets.

Nope. I am a lazy caveman grower. My lights are top end. Rest is cheap. I have 1 circulating fan. 1 exhaust. 1 humidity/temp meter. Analog timer from walmart for 7 bux.
Organic top dress. Recharge or another life builder. Molasses to feed the life…sparingly. That is it. I have ALL the gear but organic lets it sit on shelf. Changed over 3 years back or so.

Normal.

Damn, yeah, I was super hopeful that because the water accumulated tested so nicely at sub-20ppm that it was a no brainer (I figured it was simply distilled water) but I didn’t even trial it for more than a day or two because I got discouraged quickly once researching it… I still am not convinced mine would be toxic, though! My space is really pretty clean !

omg, the bane of my growing existence so far.

i can’t figure out if it’s normal or not.

my buds can look nice but the bloody STEMS keep turning red and I’ve been fed info from others that it signifies some kind of inbalance or problem at the core of it all

So let me tell you, my friend, the #1 stress of my grows

I love it!

If I can ask, bit more specifics just because I’d be keen to try a similar system, what’s your media, nutes, and water pH ?

@Roadsideorganics.ok top dress. 2 parts. 1 veg and 1 flower. Dirt i built 2 years ago. Organic potting soil no ammend or lightly ammended. Worms. GREAT lights.
Ammend soil and get life going. Cook it 3 weeks before planting. Lets life build and break down the top dress. Stops the nute burn. Water it between ph of 5.5 to 7.5. Organic soil that is strong with life will adjust it. CAN adjust ph if want. Molasses…small amount…added every couple weeks for the soil life. Play xbox. Binge movies. Look in once a day. Water when needs…keep MOIST not wet. Prune or lst as want. Harvest.

I measured multiple time since killing plants.
One unit does 6.5 to 7 (now, after 6 months daily use)
and the other still does 4.7 (was lower, still newer).
Mixing with other water showed numbers still not good.
Untested water utilized and all hell got loose.
My yard plants can take hose water, straight, not my soils.
I do bubble aerate my feed water for Marijuana plants.

Here are a couple picks of some grows. City reservoir water. Hard as hell here in the semi desert.

I also allow the harvested plants to break down roots into the soil then yank the stem. Adds organic matter. Since no till style it also allows new plants to follow last plants root pattern easily. Speeds them up i have noticed.

Love it!! This current batch I have going was a composition of Sunshine Mix #4 (found on CLEARANCE at Canadian Tire for $2.65 a full bag!!!)

I had never used the media before but the price was so amazing compared to the bag of Black Swallow I pay $32.50 for in comparison, I had to try it!

I added microbes, worm castings, compost trio, and scatterings of other things (soil inoculants, yucca, aloe+coconut water drenches, kelps, molasses, and so on)

And for the first time in my life I “cooked” it for over 30 days in one of those black & yellow lid giant totes before using it, in hopes of it making things available faster!

Only one strain I transplanted into got too dark for the first stages of its grow, I’m guessing too much N or 4-4-4, but I just kept feeding the plant natural things like Aloe, Coconut Water, Molasses etc. and zero further nutes until the plant naturally started using it up

The dehumidifier collects like 2+ full reservoirs per day, it’s so unfortunate it can’t reliably be repurposed

MAN i love that fade happening in pic 1! What a beauty!

The thing about me is - I am a troubleshooter by nature, maybe due to my computer/tech background. So all I hear when someone tells me “don’t use your hard water, just use RO, its easier!” has the opposite effect and makes me want to use NOTHING but my problematic hard water, in hopes of figuring out what I can do to make the plants finally accept it and even make use of the natural minerals

What I’m getting at is, having “troublesome hard water with high pH” simply motivates me to do testing until I finally MAKE it work for me - exactly like I’d do with a problem on a computer I’m troubleshooting

Ton of similarities, I’m not sure if it gets mentioned

Pretty much what i posted. I am a less is more guy unless I am clocking my gaming rig. Then like You I go very deep. Damn software riding on top of each other drives me nuts. Especially rgb software. Needing icue to partner with msi or asus sofware for controlling sux.

Here’s a picture I took almost a week ago. I have some burnt tips but I raised the light a little to counter balance that. (Which it has)
I haven’t had any issues besides the tips with my girls so I just assumed it was a trait characteristic because it was on my Grand Daddy Purp. I personally think you’ll be fine but I’d take the advice of a more experienced growmie than me if you can.
