WORM CASTING is a separate admenment. The plants just love that stuff. If we were growing outside that plant roots will follow the worms where ever they go eating their waste thus greating an awesome root zone. That’s why I put a little here and there so that the roots wiil seek it out and they will.
You can also make it into a tea and let it sit for a week or two.

I’ve also found that worm castings are fairly neutral PH and tend to buffer the whole soil mix to some extent. You could also use peat like Promix but anything peat based is not a “renewable” resource. Like coir.
