Is this a thing?

Is this just in my head or is it a real thing?
Doing a GSC-Auto grow. They are in bud stage, just a few weeks away from harvest.
I was doing some “gardening” and my hands get sticky. Later on I swear I felt like the arthritis in my hands felt 10 times better than they have felt in a long time.
Just in my head?

I don’t think so. There are a number of people that use THC salves to great effect. A friend’s mother makes a tincture like they did in Old Mexico for just that purpose.

That’s why it’s called plant therapy, my friend!

Thc can be absorbed through the skin. Cannabis considered a novel anti inflammitory this likely eased your discomfort. I make infused oil for edibles in 3 cup batches, 2 cups for eating and 1 cup for topical. Take a bath with a tblsp or two of infused coconut oil in it, it is amazing for the skin and amazing for sore muscles and joints.

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and make my personal lotion with both decarbed and not decarbed extract along with cbd extract for more of a full spectrum lotion. Comfrey is also an excellent herb to include in any pain relief lotions. :v::green_heart:

I too, make a thc salve that everyone says works amazingly. My salve has bees wax in it so it’s not best for sensitive areas of the face (areas prone to acne)… it will clog pores, but for everything else it works great! We use it for literally everything

The real stickey stick does not want to wash off with soap, only alcohol.

I know this is old but I’m a slow reader. Until the weed is decarbed nothing will affect you. Even the ultra high CBD plants I grow have almost no effect until I decarb them. I say almost because you can make a tea out of high CBD stems and leaves that does have a calming effect @Hoggwild.

No, you’re not trippin’, dude. That sticky feeling? It’s called resin, and it’s packed with all sorts of good stuff like cannabinoids. Could totally be giving your hands some relief. So nah, not just in your head. Keep on gardening, bro!
