Is this a normal reaction to transplanting?

This was super stressful on all of us but they are now in 5 gallon and 1, 3 gallon pot. They look super sad now :frowning: is this normal for after a transplant?

Did you water the plant once it was transplanted? It looks like a mild lack of turgidity.

Did the roots fill the container it was in?
Did the root ball stay in tact?
Did you make an indentation in the transfer pot to receive the plant?
Did you give them a little drink afterwords?
If yes to all four - stress free for the girls. And you can rest easy too.

Yes the large ones got a good watering after transplant because they were do anyway and I wanted to check the pH.

Root ball on the top left one did not stay intact it lost shape as I tiled it back over to place in the new container. I dont think I tore any roots though.

I did make an indentation In the new pot and yea the roots pretty much filled the container. If you check my grow journal they looked like they were getting quite big for their pot size.

Thanks man. I’ve gotten really attached to those big ones lol.

If you damaged the roots that could explain the mild loss of turgidity, even if water was available. It looks fine though, and it should recover quickly.

Mine did the same thing when I transplanted… put them in partial shade for the day… not direct sunlight or grow light… it was all better by the end of the day… give it a few days!!!
