She’s a beast. How long did you veg n flower?
Very nice and bushy. How much did you get weight wise? Just curious😉. And I am curious also to the veg. period.
Monster crop is the way to go. I take cuts from a mom, top those cuts twice, and scrog out. Yields are from 8-10lbs from 8 plants in 10gallon pots. Huge yields in a 9x7 room. Although, strain is 90% of all factors
Wowzer, now that sounds like what I am looking for. How long did you reveg. before you flipped? And what strains do you suggest @Jbudz? I was thinking I would scrog one also.
How long did you veg it for? And how many flower weeks before harvest? @boardsbird
Its on https://ilgmforum.com/t/gorilla-glue-4-from-dead-to-filling-a-4x6-tent-for-over-1-lb-in-100-days-or-less-in-a-race-with-a-durban-poison-autoflower/22672/340
Looks like 137 days total. It wasn’t fast
52 days in veg. I been running aurora indica for a while now. Pretty heavy yeilds
Bottom pic is of the northern lights thought was an auto vegged 6 weeks flipped to 12/12 and plant became to tall for 60” tent. Cut the top about 18” main cola. This was mid November. The top pic is the plant currently and the small plants are clones off it. Getting ready to flower and prob scrog that one. I have a close friend fellow hobbyists that we work in conjunction to be able to grow different strains simultaneously. Also if something happens to my crop or his crop we will not have total loses. So main monster crop plant has vegged for about 8 weeks and is now going to get a trim and into flower tent.
Thinking repot next week another 3 weeks n flip? Only bigger plant thinking might keep other in veg for a while. @QtPatooty
@Midwestnewbie I am thinking about vegging mine until I can take it outside. And let it finish outside. I would transplant into a large 30 gal. or so pot once I move it outside. And just let it grow wild to see what would happen. I plan on cloning 5 of these girls here. It will be 3 weeks since the flip on Thurs. A couple of the girls are 3’ across the top now. They are running me out of my 8x8 area.
Beautifully done… I can’t wait to see them outside and what they’ll do. They get so dense though gotta make sure you don’t get pm or mold or rot.
Thank you! What is pm? I am in an area that gets high humidity usually in July and August, so I do worry about bud rot. But I have known ppl that have grown outdoors for about 40 yrs where I grew up on Braggs mountain. So I know it can be done, we’ll just see if I can do it successfully. Since I am new at growing I jumped right in. Trying to find what works best for me. When I was a young girl 10 yrs. old, myself, my sister who was 7 and cousin 8 all girls mind you worked in the fields. Our papa would drop us off in the morning he’d bring us a bologna sandwich chips and a pop. And off he’d go again and we’d go back to work. Us 3 young girls grew enough watermelons that they would bring in semi’s to haul them out. I learned a lot about growing vegetables and melons when I was young, had no choice. But I really think it has helped me today. Papa died when he was 85 but he’d tell everyone he knew, “I never had a good crop after my granddaughters left home.” ![]()
Powdery mildew. If leaves sit on top of each other and transpire.
That’s awesome @QtPatooty my great grandmother had a very small yard but extensive gardens. I’d mow for her weekly and help in the garden as time went on. Her gardens were the local newspaper spring and fall. Couldn’t do what we’ve done in the past dropping off knowing three young girls would be ok. Today’s world is sick and demented sad times. Most times I wish we could revert back to the old ways where people talk face to face. But then again I’d probably not met all these wonderful people either it’s a catch 22!
just took another 5 clones of the big one up top this morning. I’ll get some pics when I’m back over ther next week. Can’t really tell anything taken off the plant.
I too miss the good ol’ days but something tells me good times are ahead. Anyway, yeah, would like to see pics. Got one more day to go. My 90 yr. old grandma passed away this morning so I might delay the cloning. Will just see how it goes. But a few days over shouldn’t hurt should it? Hey and thanks for taking the time to educate me.![]()
Very sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences. It shouldn’t matter a day or two as it will likely take upwards of 3 weeks to root and reveg. Like you I hope for better times ahead.
And what kind, and how many lights are you using to produce 8-10lbs?
@daz49 here is some monster cropping clones and plants like your nephew was talking about.
