Are we looking at the bud or at the leaves?
Buds as best I can
It’s kinda hard to keep my hand steady
Cut a small sample so you you can steady yourself on something solid.
I will never miss fat calyx
Looks like most a cloudy.
I had a stunted plant that the buds didn’t develop right so I chopped down and plan to use for rosin or butter or whatever any advice
Need to see pictures of whole plant and buds from a little farther away.
No working knowledge of concentrates. Can’t help.
I have a question. I have a couple plants that are covered in trics. Trics are turning cloudy and pistols are brown but main cola has leaves protruding out 3 inches from the cola. How long do I have before it’s to late. Is the main cola going to engulf those leaves basically get fatter or has that stage passed. There all autos but unfortunate circumstances made identifying which is which almost impossible. All fast strains with high yield capabilities. Growing outside on gulf coast.
I had a question and you seem to be logical and know what you’re talking about. So if I see new pistol growth anywhere on the plant does that mean I’m still a ways from harvesting. Or just because I see new pistol Growth shouldn’t stop me from harvesting. I’m keeping an eye on my trikes but they seem to be cloudy right now for the most part you know maybe a couple little Amber’s but very little Amber a couple of my plants all the pistols are brown and I’m not seeing too much more pistol growth but on other plants I have curly brown pistols on part of the buds and then on the other side of the plant I got new growth pistol growth white hair straight almost. My question basically is with autoflowers should I not even think about harvesting if I’m seeing new pistol growth and just say screw the trichomes. I’m not sure man everybody says keep track of the trichomes you know and another thing how long do I have theoretically between cloudy to Amber. Then Amber to fuck I waited to long, you understand what I’m saying.
Do you have pictures of the new growth might be foxtailing might not be. Need pictures to be able to tell.
What if it is Fox telling from what I’ve read it’s really just cosmetic not really a big deal. So if the new growth is foxtails don’t worry about them and harvest whenever as long as the triks are cloudy. Or do i need to let it keep growing
Could take weeks to go from cloudy to 30% amber and still have week or two more to get to “OH CRAP I screwed up”.
So are those foxtails
And if they are what if anything do I need to do
No they are not foxtails. shes still putting out white hairs shes still fattening up. Looking at her you still have aways to go.
Two to three weeks maybe
Ok thank you
I wouldn’t have even broken out the microscope yet if that was my plant. But thats just me. Too easy to mind Fu(% myself looking at trichomes when Im anxious. Sure yer gonna have some cloudy trichomes at this point and even a few amber if you look hard enough. When you do check trichomes you want to be looking at a small piece of bud not leaves not even tiny ones but the calyx’s from the main buds. I usually clip off small pieces and bring it inside and put it on a table and slide my microscope up to it.
This was a week or 2 before harvest 2018
