Is my seedling dying?

I noticed the leaves look weaker as the week is continuing. Could I be overwatering? I removed nutes 3 days ago.

that rooter looks dry…how often are you watering? how much?
what nutes? how much?

seedlings don’t need much water…but shouldn’t dry out.

I don’t water the rooter. The bubbler runs 24/7. I removed nutes 3 days ago; GH Flora Trio. Should I wet the rooter?

@nicky or @ChittyChittyBangin might be great with this…

I have never ran fill hydro, but wetting the rooter wouldn’t hurt until it can grow a litter bigger/deeper roots I Geuss.

I posted this a couple weeks ago about how I do rockwool cubes in hydro buckets from seedlings. Should be fairly similar.
EDIT: So I guess I just linked back to your other post, so no new info I guess.

@Veva
The roots need moisture. The idea is to start with a wet/damp cube and keep the hydroton wet UP TO the cube with the bubbler, but not get the cube any wetter. Then when true leaves start growing, to SLOWLY lower the water level, never letting the new roots dry out. Once you see roots growing out of the netpot sides/bottom, you should have the water level down maybe half way or so to the bottom of the netpot. SLOWLY lowering the level more, keeping the roots below the water level, eventually getting it to the level you want. The netpot shouldn’t be out of the water until there are several roots dangling down into the water, maybe half way down into the bucket.
(By “slowly”, I mean over days, by maybe a half inch at a time. Let the roots tell you when to drop the level.)

I don’t drop the level to the bottom of the netpot until they look close to this:

At this point, you may want to carefully pick a few pebbles out from one side with a tweezers, and inspect the root zone, to see what kind of development there is, and adjust your water level accordingly based on the above concept.
EDIT: You can see those same plants I showed, by clicking on my name/icon. My feeble attempt at a journal has a link there with current pics.

Disclaimer: None of this will address nutrient issues, just water.

Thank you, I believe that’s where I made my mistake. My water was always roughly 1” below my pot at all times.

How does my new baby look? I can’t seem to figure out why it’s yellowing. I think my ph meter may be bad/off. It was cheap. I’m using 0 nutes as well. I monitor the ph every few days and it’s only been higher than 6.5 for 1-2 days max. My tent is currently 77° with 43% rh. Should I turn my fan off? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Plants only have enough energy stored in the seed to get it past the cotyledons stage. Once real blade leaves start coming in, they need nutrients.
