Is it too late to grow a photo outside?

Hi all ! It’s August 1st. I live on Long Island NY.
Growing outside is it too late to plant a photo now?
I have an outdoor greenhouse With a fan. But have not set up any lighting and not sure I can.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks

I keep forgetting who all lives in the NE…

What is the total time stated for the auto you are thinking about? What strain? Growing indoor or out?

I’m a little bit north of you (Cape Cod MA) and my photos have already started flowering. I believe you would have to veg under lights and then put them out still pretty small. I’ve not done autos but I think that’s your best shot for getting anything outdoors now….

Thanks Caliguri. Im growing outside so far. The auto would be Critical + 2.0 in amended ground soil

Just north of the sound Beck. I’m gonna try this auto outside. I’ll try to keep every posted

@Lacewing and @Mr_Wormwood are up that way. @ReelOfishalTrees too. But I think Lace is the only one who does outside as far as I know.

I think you are fine to grow an auto outside …
I have one that’s 2 months old and pretty much ready to cut but I’m being greedy and trying to fatten it up …I also have another one that’s just over a month old and 4 feet tall almost flowering hard and has about 15 cola sites …I don’t have a greenhouse

Oh and I’m in NJ

The two on the left are photoperiods …the two on the right are autos …the biggest auto is only over a month old not even 5 weeks

9 days. Gorilla glue auto. Some yellow going on

I’m a complete newb.
I haven’t added any nutes yet. I did put a teaspoon of super thrive in the water On the suggestion of a friend. The first watering was a run off of 6.3. I’m getting an EC meter tomorrow
Thanks for the help so far

Way too late, you will probably end up having to bring them in the last half of flower. Mine are already 7+ feet and a couple weeks into flower.

Ahh yeah those you may have to bring inside to finish …my photos are about a month behind last year and I harvested in early September …so other than the fact they are flowering just a bit smaller than they were last year I should be fine …and sorry for that mixup I just realized you said photo originally lol my bad

I think i was tagged in when you guys started talking about autos outside because I was growing one lol

I’d like something like this as a lean to when it rains …but I’m such a bug person any other time they were in there I’d just feel like I’m trapping the plants in with the bugs lolol …it’s just a mental thing
