First time in 25 years growing. Here are picture. The first group it of the main cola. The second group is of a bud half way down the plant. Is it time to cut yet? I don’t know the strain. I’m at 8 weeks today in the flower cycle. It seems like the main cola on the top may need a little longer. But the bud half way down the plant seems close?? Please tell me that you think. Thanks

The 8 weeks is just an idea of flower time, we don’t start counting until they have hedgehogs on them, then start counting weeks.
Welcome and great job getting your girls ready. IMO I’m seeing some amber in those flowers.Now it depends what you want from your girls.
10% amber = nice uplifting buzz
20% amber = head n body all in one
30% .=amber = very close to couch lock
40 %( and up ) amber definitely couch lock for me.
Everyone has different levels of tolerance.So what you like will determine chop.
I personally like 20-25 %.If your not engaged in conversation or any activity with people.You can easily take a nap.
I think your plant needs about 5-7 more days.,to reach my liking,but you do you.
You can harvest part of your plant in 2 separate ways.Take the flowers 10-20 % then take the rest at 30-40.% amber.
Your plant IMO is in the window.

That’s what I figured. I just got confused when I saw the buds on the lower branches had are starting to have Amber where the main cola’s on the top of the plant are still clear with maybe one or two Amber much more amber on the lower portion of the plant.
I would love to have the head and body and up lifting. Right in between. What would 15% look like? how do you go about trying to calculate that? thank you.
15 out of 100 is 15 percent break that in half 7.5 out of 50 so about ( 3.75 )4 out of 25 and so on
Oh lol I misunderstood what strain are you growing will depend on if it’s a hybrid sativa or indica you have to figure this also.
The strain is unknown. It was a free plant that someone started and didn’t want any more. So I took the orphan
