I’d still lower the light about 5-6 inches

Ok, I have a question that’s been eating at me… Why do the stigmas turn to red hairs so early in the flowering process? Is it because it’s auto? And do they retain the thc the others gain during maturation?

You tagged me but unfortunately I can’t help here. I’m set to watching though because I’m eager to learn too and I’m sure one of the others will help.

Tag them when you begin a grow journal and these dude will help. They know their stuff and have helped me a ton!

Sometimes some pistils will orange quicker than others. Usually if this happens in early flower, the plant will put out another push of fresh pistils for the final bulking. To much wind or being right next to a fan can cause it too. Are all the pistils turning orange or just a few here and there?

Matty has you set. Personally, I don’t really feel like they start to turn all that early. But, the plant will continue to put out pistils for some time, and earlier pistils will start turning sooner as he said. As far as thc goes, that is more a function of trichomes.

You ALL are amazing!!! I am learning so much that the old timers that quit don’t. There are only about ten on the entire plant so I’m assuming this is good for my final harvest?

I personally like the appearanc too.

Another nooby one, Do the early stigmas continue to grow in volume as the plant continues to flower???

I don’t know if they bigger throughout, I’ve never paid attention that closely.

Some bud porn. The density is amazing! By finish she should be at least 2 inches thick…

She’s now pushing it all into those buds… Filling out and smelling amazing so far.

Watts is just not a good method of measuring light output. On the one hand it seems that folks look for high wattage fixtures? And then when you go to LED folks end up going to lower wattage? Why ? That makes no sense? Some LED lights are pretty much useless for growing plants! So even 1000 watts poured into them is wasted power! Even mentioning watts only matters in cost of operation and has very little meaning in grow lights. In essence its like comparing apples to oranges, theyre round and thats where the similarities stop. If watts matter cuz yall want to save on power I can see that but if they matter for growing weed you may want to choose a different measurement term like Umols or PPFD then watts matter after that for efficiency measurements.

Sorry for the rant my cat Rambo pissed me off! Bastard got into a house plant and killed it! Dirt everywhere!

lol, my dog thought on that once. Then he ate my vape pen once because of the smell. He didn’t like it so much and won’t go near the plants anymore. Poor guy, but it taught him a good lesson.

I wasnt hostile, just stating some facts! Seems you are being hostile. Hes fine, and honestly, that light fixture is pretty awesome! The comment wasnt really even aimed at him, it appears most folks use wattage to describe grow light power and it doesnt make sense to do that. Do you disagree?
But my cat did piss me off lol.
