In search for a strain

Ok,

You know when you find that one strain that you just absolutely love? Well, I found it, and it is called Buddha’s Hand. SO, if you run across any of the seeds let me know.:crossed_fingers: :victory_hand:

I’ll definitely keep an eye out for it. What was it about the strain that you liked/loved? Always like to know in case I run across, or know of, something similar. Good luck.

It has that perfect balance for me. Relaxed but not couch lock. I don’t get the munchies to where I eat the house up. I am in a great mood and can either chill or go. It’s a great smoke.

As a secondary note to the group since @LadyInTheCorner started this thread…

What strains have you had, like the one listed above, that you can’t seem to find anymore? I’m not talking about the old Landrace strains, but maybe something that was just mind-blowing and either the breeder/grower was shut down, passed away, or maybe the growers just decided to grow something else?

Mine was Bull-Rider from the San Diego area. Not the Afghani Bullrider that you see on some of the seed sites these days, but the original one from the guy that was on the Bull Riding Rodeo circuit who came from the San Diego California area. It was supposed to be a clone only strain, but right before it disappeared, there were some legitimate seeds that were available for a super-short period of time. I wasn’t growing my own at the time, so I passed it up thinking that the commercial version would always be available because it was so kick ass. I heard the guy was killed in a rodeo accident and that everything grow wise went south from there. I’ve never been able to replicate that experience/high since and wish that I could find it again. Anyone else seen it?

Glad to hear it. Hopefully it becomes available for you.

I think this is an earlier Bodhi strain. I don’t know if you’ll find it current anywhere but worth checking.

Buddah’s Hand is an indica / sativa from Bodhi Seeds and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors (Where the plants will need a flowering time of ±70 days)

ILGM has a nice write up about it, but everywhere I looked said it was out of stock

It’s been about 15 years since I worked with a med grower in Ft Collins, CO who breed a strain that he named maple syrup. It’s the only plant I’ve ever seen that literally oozed resin out of itself. Resembled sap dripping from a maple tree. It was crazy. I dont remember what the cross was but it was a heavy indica that would shut down even the most hyper active people. (Myself) It was incredible. I have tried to reconnect with my old friend a few times to no avail.

That sounds amazing! I would love to see that. Hopefully someone knows how to get their hands on it.
