Thanks everyone! Heres some info on my grow.

Im growing 3 ILGM White Widows in 5 gallon grow bags with Fox Farms Happy Frog soil. Im running a 150w Abriselux LED. I plan to get another. Ive got it all in a 4x4x6.5 tent. Ive got a duct fan fixed to the top of the inside hooked up to a thermostat to control heat. I use a small cool mist humidifier as needed. I also have a 6" oscillating clip fan. I use fox farms nutrients. However, i hardly use them as the soil carries pretty well. My girls are about 3 weeks. Ill probably begin LST very soon. I dont plan to top or anything. I like to keep it simple. I think theyre looking great. Feels amazing to be growing again (last grow was about 8 years ago).

It is good to open them up and create new bud sites. There are several different ways to LST. Personally I will top my plants

In the pics you can see I have pinched off the upward growth of each plant. As it now sends fresh new growth up I begin to tease that growth outward rather than upward

You are doing just fine. Train that top to grow horizontal and you will open up a whole new world of bud possibilities. There is A LOT of information on LST. I believe the majority of indoor growers use the technique. Be curious, but be gentle! You are destined for greatness!!!

I 100% will try topping on a future grow for sure! I plan on experimenting with different techniques. I just want to play this one as safe as possible. It’s been a long time since I’ve grown, I’m nervous of messing this up haha

Also I do not know how people here feel about YouTube but there are probably a million videos on topping, fimming, manifolding. LST that way you get some visual education as well. I found my way of doing it on YouTube. Many excellent grow channels in there. Find what works for you bring it to the forum and your growmies will definitely let you know if it bogus or viable

Hey I understand. This isn’t like old school indoor anymore you have to put up some $$ for genetics, lighting, heating, humidity it isn’t find a seed put it in a pot on your windowsill there is now modern science involved. Good to have you back in the grow culture we will change the World one grower at a time!!!

You’ll be just fine! I switched to growing outdoors because electricity here is insane! This summer, our high bill was $750 and we have an 1800 sq/ft home! This is the second year growing outdoors and what it really taught me was that I was stressing over environment (indoors) way too much. Nature is much more forgiving than I imagined

Indoors, you really have to watch temp, humidity, lighting, watering… ack, there’s so much! Just remember, they are weeds LOL.

Welcome aboard! You won’t be dissatisfied with ILGM, or this forum! Lots of great growers and info here! Your plants look great. Only thing i might recommend is a little more light for flowering, but i see you plan on another. You can fill that whole tent up with those beauties. Looking great so far! Good luck and happy growing!

Just a heads up if your white widow is anything like mine she will be a beast. I flipped at like 30some days and she exploded. ( That’s my Chocolope but white widow is not in pic but same size)
