Hey growers!

August Photo of the Month is live. Quick recap for anyone new: this isn’t about the biggest bud, it’s about the photo. Think composition, lighting, whatever makes the shot worth a second look.

Any stage, any setup. A frosty macro shot, a tent full of plants, a seedling just breaking soil, an outdoor patch, a clean close-up of trichomes or structure. If it’s a good photo of your grow, it’s fair game.

Deadline: midnight, August 27th.
Poll goes up August 28th, and voting closes midnight, August 30th. Winner announced August 31st.

To enter

Reply in this thread before the deadline with:

1. The strain name

2. One photo

What counts

• Seedlings, veg, or flower

• Harvest shots

• Tent or room setups

• Outdoor grows

• Close-ups (trichomes, structure, etc.)

If it’s a strong photo, post it.

Prize

@Lexie.ILGM , since you seem to have taken over @Olaf.ILGM 's position as the Head of moderators, I’d like to address the elephant in the room…

With all due respect, and without any resentment, I’d like to know why, or if there’s a reason, for this contest to have gone from “Open to everyone growing any genetics from anybody” to "Ilgm’s purchased seeds exclusively " ?

We already have BOM and this photo contest was an occasion for everyone to show their best… It gave people who couldn’t get your products a chance to participate and feel included. Maybe even win some seeds and eventually try to grow your products?

Why the change? If you don’t mind me asking.
