After getting the temperature correct the ILGM Goldleaf is one of the best strains I’ve ever smoked.
The buds came out really tight and crystally.
After curing the buds for over 8 weeks they now have a really good “Gold” smell and color. Reminds me a little of the Acapulco and Columbian gold I use to get growing up.
The ILGM Afghan on the other hand, all five seeds produced different plants all had different buds.
The Afghan buds were loose and airy. So, After giving it three attempts to make sure I wasn’t at fault, I aced the strain completely.
It is a waste of time to put the effort into B grade buds like the Afghan, when I can put the time into the Goldleaf and get A+ buds.

I remember getting some afghan back in the early 80s. Was some awesome stuff. It’s been 30 years since I’ve smoked, so not sure what the new stuff will give. But the afghan back then was amazing as was the Colombian gold. Those are some really nice buds
