Ilgm auto blueberry first grow looking to learn

I appreciate it. Yeah I have a dated grow journal written down and I also take pretty frequent pictures on my phone which are also dated.

Hi @Bassface45 I’m new to this forum but would love to help with any questions you may have. I mostly grow and breed autoflowers. Autoblueberry Is one of my favorite autos, shes a real consistent variety. Auto blueberry does fantastic in most organic soil and has no real PH issues so its not critical. Peace DN

Thank you. That’s good to know. It’s nice to hear feedback about the particular strain I’m growing as most strains are different from one another.

She looks really happy. You should see exponential growth within a week. Keep up the good work

@DirtyNatasha have you heard good things about dinafem blue kush? I watched a video of a guys first grow with a regular fem seed and I had to buy some. Got 2 blue kush autos and 2 regular. The guy had 2.5 lbs wet off one plant!!! I also picked up some fast buds seeds too. It seems like people get good results from them. I’m excited to see these blueberry grow. The last node showed up out of nowhere lol. I got so exited the other day I planted another!!!

Having more of a serious problem now with humidity. Came home from work and it was at 73 degrees and 30% humidity. Does anyone have some good advise for this. It’s been a problem I’ve been trying to solve the last two weeks.

I had that problem then I got some fabric pots and my humidity went up to 45-55%.

I have two smart pots (fabric pots) in my tent. They’ve been in there from the beginning.

I put those up around my room got from Walmart for about 35$ there’s smaller and cheaper ones also but I find the visible ultrasonic misters work real well for humidity

Nice. Thanks @stan I got a cool mist humidifier from Walmart when I started my tent and it hasn’t really done much. I may grab a few like yours, set one inside the tent and if that doesn’t do the trick set one in my room where I’m getting my air from. My humidity has now dropped to 25% even with my small humidifier on in the tent. North east winter, furnace= dry air. That’s all I can figure.

Hey guys I’m new to the forum here. I’m starting a grow very simalar to this as my first grow. I’m growing in a 4x4 tent, in a storage room. My main concern is that the room stays pretty cold and kinda damp (sure the humidity is around 80-90%) Iv had mould problems in that room before, I don’t want to run into mould problems with my grow any suggestions?

Dehumidifier would be a great investment for you then. Some of them even pump out a half descent heat. So you get 2 birds with one stone. @Thundernuts

Any decent humidifier in a tent should be controlling the humidity so I don’t know what’s going on with that I’m in the Northeast I have forced hot air & around 34% humidity but if I put the humidifier on I can tweak it wherever I want so I don’t know what your problem is, maybe you could tell us more?

Well there’s not too much to my setup. My hyper fans are too big for my tent for sure, but they’re both set on low.

The humidifier I bought may not be good enough quality or just isn’t doing what it should. It’s one of those clear blue cool mist humidifiers.

My hyper fans are 8 and 6 inch. 8 (out) on the inside and 6 (in) on the outside. I realize the 8" hyper fan is 700+ CFM but on low with a phresh filter, it’s only 300 CFM I believe. It’s not loud at all. It doesn’t seem like it’s sucking too much out or blowing too much in. I can control the fans and see the tent expand and contract.

I can also see that the cool mist coming out of the humidifier is not going straight up. I have it placed near my incoming air spreading it on the floor of the tent.

Sorry for slow reply, I hit my daily post limit.

Yes I grew Blue Kush and it smelled like some kind of carpet cleaner. By far the strongest best smelling strains I have seen. It was very strong I tested over 24% THC back when they first released it. She needs a longer veg time because stretching is minimal after 12hr flip. Yield is great on this one. You may need to remove some large fan leaves around week 3 of veg ā€œthey block so much light to lower growthā€. Oh which fast buds did you get? They sure are gaining popularity and I can see why.

As for your humidity problem cannabis is very forgiving when and will return to normal growth soon with no damage. I would suggest turning your fan speed down if you have a controller or turning it off… Being that you are running LED’s you can raise your temperature safely in the 80-92F range while the plants are young. If this does not help enough hang a wet rag in the tent ā€œbe careful not to get light wetā€.

If the humidity stays low autoflowers growth will become stunted so its better to play it safe and raise the hummidity quickly. Nothing is worse than a stunted auto.

Peace and Best wishes DN

@DirtyNatasha I ordered Barneys farm amnisia lemon, duch passion auto blackberry kush, fast buds LSD auto, and fast buds green crack lol.

Looks like you pick some good ones. I was very tempted to order LSD-25 maybe Ill see how yours turn out
My DP auto blackberry kush yielded 215g of purple buds.

I’m using a humidifier I used 30 years ago so I’m thinking you got some other reason you can’t get that humidity up ?

RH is 30% this morning, I’m thinking of putting my humidifier in tent but at the same time I had a nasty battle with leaf spot fungus and I believe keeping my humidity around 60 to 65 was why it started, I may try it just in the room but I remembered from last winter it didn’t really do much

Anyway back to your humidity issue, I got nothing for you because honestly it doesn’t make sense to me, any decent humidifier should be bringing it up, do you have it inside, is the tent usually closed ?

Yeah dude the tent is ALWAYS closed and I ran it religiously using RO water in the tent . I also have a 3.5 gallon bucket with a waterstone in it, thinking it would raise the humidity but it hasn’t. It’s confusing the shit out of me and I really don’t want to spend any more money on stuff that may or may not help :frowning:

My goal is to have at 45-50% until the plant gets big enough to keep the humidity up by itself.

If I do have to spend more money, I may go to my local hydro store and just get a co2 setup to bring up the humidity. Thanks @Paranorman for your feedback. Nice to talk to someone from the northeast with the same grow struggle I have lol
