@IceDragon if you can catch about 5 gallons of rain water for your feeding , you would be amazed on the difference , if you have an aquarium by any chance , that is thee best water you can used sir , but if you want some good premium, nothing beats the bud that grows from the Coy Fish :fish: pond oh God !
Seaweed to plants is liquid gold !
Now if I say this, this whole forum is going to think I’m crazy :crazy_face: when I say this , but I can prove it next spring !
The weather Scientist can make worms :worm: fall with rain water :droplet: ? I think I have photos :camera:, but this was the first year I’ve noticed them in my rainwater catches . But all three this year were full of Lil red worms :worm: about a inch long , but how did thousands of them get in the catch reservoirs ? The worms can only get in from the sky right , it’s no other way ? But why it only that one month out of the whole entire year after it rains :cloud_with_rain: I find these micro super worms I call them , cause worms oxygenated the dirt and they poop :poop: , worms casting ? I know it may sound far fetch but start catching rain water :droplet: and pay attention around early spring if you don’t get these red worms in your bucket , are whatever you used to catch rain water in , but I’m sure this is why catching rain water is illegal for agriculture farms ? It blowed my mind ? But this is how they control the weather climate with them spraying aeroplanes :airplane: with that with smoke , cloud seeding vapors my ass !
But yes I have no way of testing rain water for its qualities or impurities , but it’s magical for my plants and I do only a 30 gallon system I rigged up that goes through a canister tank to filter it and I pump it to an old fish aquarium I have in my shed that just keeps the water circulating and moving as if it was a normal fish tank but it’s just for the rain water creating system for plant feeding . Pretty cool :sunglasses: , but I only used rain water when I give my plants nutrients in bloom , in veg only seaweed extract, molasses or calmag either one , not both , the rain water is most likely ph’ed when it falls so it’s right at 6.9 -7.1 was the highest in 10 years , so it’s consistent , and if I have enough I used for watering , if not than tap water for watering , rain water for adding nutrients .

So I wanted to give everyone an update. I did a serious flush around 1am EST (soaked all the dirt in the pots to flush all the nutrients out). I used three 5 gallon buckets and I placed my plants on top, I slowly ran tap water all around the plant (leaving the closest inch to the stem alone) intil I pushed out around 3 gallons of water in the 5 gallon bucket. I then used clean glasses to for testing. Here are the PH and the TDS of each bucket, HOW bad is the damage?

I do know that the PH will have to come UP, I will be fixing that today.

So the light that I am strongly leaning toward is the HLG 650R, I am taking it as this will work the best for me regarding the size of my grow room and yes I will be using code DUDE which is awesome.

:flushed::flushed: Wow. I’m just getting to finish line with my first grow so I’m definitely not the expert. But I would think you need to get proactive today. Start doing some research on PH Lockout and how to correct it. Your pH in the runoff is so low the plants can’t absorb any nutrients so they are just building up. You could probably assume that the pH in the soil itself is actually a little bit lower if the water going in the flush is at the proper pH. Ask around or do some quick reading but think I’d continue flushing like you did with pH water on the high side 6.9 7.0 and very low ppm until it got back in range. Lower the humidity in the the tent into the 40s put them under light with an extra fan for 24 straight hours and let them dry out a little. You might even need a little bit of lime top dress the soil?? I’m sure you can recover from this but don’t put any action off because they will get nutrient starve and die.

Good googly moogly! 3k ppms on such tiny ladies… in happy frog soil? Lol lucky ur pH is lockoutd or theyd be showing some tip burn. Work that pH back into range. More soil soaking… go in around 6.8. Until ur above 6.3 runoff.

And be gentle again. Those pots (and thereby roots) are waterlogged. Gonna need to dry out and drain thoroughly when ur finishd. Maybe a few days

@PurpNGold74 LMFAO. I was going to put GREAT googly moogly!! But between me and Siri we couldn’t spell it so just went with Wow instead. Thanks for putting that out there. :rofl:

Ya , I am definitely going to redo the soak again later tonight or can I re-transplanting them in to new pot with fresh soil or is that a HUGE NO NO at this stage?

Yup great minds :slight_smile: thanks is for the song wifey already adding it to her playlist :rofl::rofl:

I wouldn’t transplant. To much stress. Just keep up the flush like PurpNGold74 said and make sure your PH is on point and no nutes. Lol

Yea Id be super worried about root development. No telling how far those ladies have stretched their legs and u dont want to continue to stunt them. Run the flushing course a tad longer. Save ur good soil for last minute nuke button.

LOL, tracking like a choo choo train. I will continue the flush every evening.

I will keep everyone updated and I will also post white light photos of the ladies this evening.

Thanks for everything

Good afternoon everyone, another flush update and also a photo of each lady this morning;

This morning;

This is after collecting 3 gallons of water run off in 5 gallon bucket same process used last time also for testing. Later today I will be OFFICALLY using PH UP to fix that issue and I hope another flush tonight will fix the PPM problem. My room temp is sitting between 80-83°F, with humidity sitting at 72% - 76% for the full 18hr on but its temp does drop as low as 75°F (I am going to be fixing that, it is due to heat being leaked UP through main floor) but the humidity stays-ish +/-2.

OOOO Also I have had NO leave drooping or lifting, so I think that is a good thing during all this.

Looking much better!! Looks like I even see some new green coming. Since you have such a big recovery, I would give it a day or two to dry out and then check the runoff on your next watering. Get that PH up & PH down make sure what’s going in his toward the high side 6.8 and check the run off. If it’s still out of whack I would give them another big flush like you did again until that PH is back in range and you will be back on track.

I definitely noticed some new growth as well, which really blows my mind. I am not counting my eggs yet, but I truly hope the ladies are back on track. I didn’t do a flush last night, my work schedule is bonkers (COVID issues, like everyone knows). But I am going to do one again tonight and retest the run off. I am also going to posting some photo of the main stems, because I believe I need to add another inch of dirt to each pot.
But I am truly thankful for everyone that was able to help me with my plants so far.
Thanks You @Wildfire50210, @PurpNGold74, @yoshi, @MidwestGuy, @beardless, @Mr_Wormwood, @Myfriendis410 . I know I have alot to learn still and I have a long ways to go but Thank you anyway. I definitely know there will be a lot more questions.

I didn’t see the post about runoff pH. A pH in low 5’s is awfully low. I am surprised to see that with Happy Frog. Sometimes it happens. It has been awhile but I remember comments about some FF ocean forest having very low pH. Keep your intake pH around 6.5 - 6.8 and hopefully the happy frog will adapt. May need a little shot dolomite lime.
