Can someone give me a little info on ice watering and when to do it please. Im keen to experiment
and also 48 hour darkness? Seems everyone does this differently. Some just leave alone for 36/48 hours, some continue to flush intermittently, some place them back into light to dry them out after the 36/48 hours. Its very confusing… anyone done this and had results that have made a difference? As always TIA!
If you’re going for it, really go for it.
7 days before harvest: drill or split the main trunk
5 days before harvest: water thoroughly with ice/ice water; this is your last watering
2 days before harvest: lights out for good
yeah been reading about splitting too, all these together tho? do you not think she will have a major stress out and breakdown?
Well, since you’ll be harvesting w/in a week…the stress is what you want to make your plant panic that it’s winter or it’s injured, to produce more trichs.
If you do all of this & still expect your plant to survive for weeks…yeah you’ll have issues.
These techniques are only used when harvest is imminent.
I’m nearly there I think… I’m all new. Only my 3rd grow x
Anyone take a look and tell me what they think pls? x
I still see a lot of white pistols. Examaning the trichomes on the flower under 30x-60x is the best way to decide.
What is shown is well sugared. If the rest of plant looks as good, you could harvest now.
And have a wonderful time enjoying the fruits of your labor and TLC.
Thanks all, very excited
I still have clear trichomes. 3 plants left in fabric bags. Getting colder here. Are they going to change? How fast do they change. Got a good look with a hand microscope. Thank you.
I’m gonna have to buy me a one. Too cold here for outside grow mate. Brrr!
I’m pondering whether to pull them now or just leave for a few days longer. Really want to try this 48hrs darkness thing. Might just bite the bullet x
Real cheap on Amazon. Be prepared to get REAL close. Nice little piece.
No my lovely, am not from Maine… wherever that may be sorry I never was very good at geography. Am in UK. Hence the title?
