Yep. Do some searches for scrog techniques. Basically you are training your plant to grow along a horizontal screen
Not sure about less bud, last year I got just shy of 2 lbs per plant , 4 plants

When is it too late to trim, top, etc. I do see some signed of flowers on a couple girls but the others are just getting white pistols. I’d like to try to cut a few limbs but I am afraid I am too late. If there’s an average of 8 weeks of flower then I am feel I am too late. Any tips/suggestions/comments are welcomed.

As for me in Michigan mid to end of July is when I’ve done the last for topping, now it’s just clean out fan leaves so the buds can see the sun. Maybe try and tie her down if she’s to tall.

Great information. I will be trimming the fan leaves for better ventilation and so the sun can get in there. I am not to concerned about the sun. It’s a powerful thing. Thanks again.

Just an updated “higher view”. Any thoughts on getting rid of some of the fan leaves? I feel I should let them be as there is plenty of air flow. Not sure though. I’d like to clear some out. I did not touch the under canopy at all. Yes the bush is past the 8ft fence line. Darn it…

Well last year they topped the gutters of the roof didn’t they.
There still in veg aren’t they ?
If so I would clear out some fan leaves open them up to light and breeze give more energy to the coming flowers.
